Dell wanted a fortune to replace some bad drives. These ones were perfect and have worked flawlessly for over a year now.

I purchased this for my Dell Poweredge R730. Came packaged nicely and was plug and play with my server. Has been running 24/7 without an issue so far but will updated if anything changes in the months to come.

It works well so far excepts I can easily hear the sound of moving/reading inside.I don't believe it can stand for long time.

Los discos llegaron muy limpios, empacados como nuevos, el rendimiento es muy bueno. Por el precio es una muy buena compra.

Have bulit multiple bare metal Dell servers over the past year using this sellers SAS Drives. Have not had a single failure or bad sector. All of my servers operate 24/7 using virtual disks at RAID 5 or RAID 10, these physical disks have a proven record ofmillions of READ/WRITE cycles of reliable service, return on investment, Low Meat Time Between Failures (MTBF) , and an extended lifecycle over similar products. Its not often that I provide a 'glowing review' of electronics, especially computer products, but this sellers drives have simply "Walked the Walk"over time.

Drive I received works fine, and the included caddy fits an R620 well, but it is a Seagate ST1200MM0018. This is an "advanced format" drive, which "emulates" a 512-byte block size. This means that, depending on your hardware and OS, you may actually need to use a tool like sg_format to run a low-level format to convert it to a true 512-block drive before you can use it. Just a heads up.
