This is the second one of these that I bought. Not because there was anything wrong with the original, I just changed the color of my tub fixtures. This is heavy, well built, and so stylish. I am so happy that they had the color I needed to match my new style!

Como jugar tretix, hay que desamarlo para instalarlo, debes de calentarlo con una secadora de cabello para poder separar la patitas y que no se rompan, de esta forma salen fácilmente sin esfuerzo, la secadora en lo mas caliente durante 1 minuto no mas, lo instalas y tienes que fijarlo con pijas no incluidas las tienes comprar aparte y es un problema, lo segundo una vez que lo ajustas o fijas tienes que instalarlo con cuidado y volver a calentar para introducir el centro, la parte interna debería ser negra no blanca si es que seleccionas el color negro como yo, se ve fatal blanca, por otro lado no trae manual de instrucciones y lo emocionante es que tiene que adivinar como desarmarla y armarla, lo otro malo es que los señalamientos vienen en dorado se ve fatal, los deberían hacer plateados para que se vean bien y con un color mas intenso y mas grandes ya que con el vapor del agua caliente no se ve nada para su ajuste correcto!!Le pongo 10 ya que es un reto instalarla, al final vale la pena ciertamente, se pudieran inventar y patentar sistemas mas sencillos pero el fabricante se complica y nos complica su instalación por falta de informaciónEsta bien terminado y se ve muy bonito

First of all, it's annoying this came with no instructions. There aren't even any on a website. Luckily, one of the commenters here said how to install you. You have to pop off the face plate then rotate it back and forth to expose the screw holes. Having said that, I was going through that process and just trying to snug it down (to make a seal with the gasket on the back side of the tub) and as I was doing it the whole unit popped apart (I've had the overflow leak, I don't trust the back gasket unless it's well and properly tightened). The images say not to disassemble it or it won't work, so I figured it was toast after that. There were some very small o-rings that I tried to replace but can't be sure I got right. Anyway, I love the idea behind this product but it proved to be useless to me and impossible to install.

Not sure if I got a defective part, but the rings keep separating and falling off. Also, really bad for cleaning. Also, the finish just started chipping off, which is why I decided to write a review. I was willing to put up with the ring issue, but now the problems are piling up.

This is the best invention to turn an old bath into a soaking tub but I have a few details to add. I have an old Kohler (1969) overflow that needed 10-24 1-3/4" solid brass course thread flathead screws. They were hard to find but finely found them. I used these to attach the overflow cover. I had a few issues at first figuring out how to install this because it came without instructions. After figuring out to pop off the center flat plate and turn the ring to expose the screw holes one at a time I was on the right track. I did read other reviews about this elsewhere that complained about the ring popping off. I believe that is only an issue if you overtighten this cover down. It has a foam gasket and it takes very little pressure to create a good enough seal to hold back water. Also I install this upside down on purpose. So the open overflow is at the top and not the bottom. Should still keep tub from overflowing when set in the open position.
