Had to swap out an old Moen valve for a new Delta one because the trim screws didn't line up. Tried sweating old connectors off but wasn't too successful with that. Was able to cut enough to get into the wall to swap connections for new Shark bites. Decided against a tub spout halfway through the process. Before and afters attached.

I was renovating an old shower with a Delta 600 series faucet. The faucet kit (of course) does not include the cover plate. I tried cleaning the old cover plate but it has 40+ years of wear and tear. I found this and now everything looks brand new.I will suggest that you use some plumbers putty when installing to help with waterproofing.

Quality of plate was very good quality, brackets also flat stock steel, very good. Issue is holes in plate are too large, soon as you tighten screws, they pull through plate, had to go to hardware store and purchase screws with larger heads and washers!

I had to have some repairs done on my bathtub faucet, the tile needed to be cut; this did a great job over covering the hole
