Fit perfectly and stayed pretty dry the first day shoveling a roof off.

Awesome gloves. Soft leather, great quality and stitching.

Have only worn these several times in 20 degree weather. These are well insulated. Kept fingers warm enough for1-2 hours. Appears well made. Reasonable dexterity. I have large hands-8 1/2 surgical gloves, and the extra large fit me well.

These are great mittens, almost as good as the 1430’s. I love the gauntlet and they are good and warm. My main complaint is that they are really small. I usually wear a medium in work and summer gloves, large in winter gloves for the room. I had to go to an xl in these to get them to feel right. If Wells was looking to make the ultimate winter mitt it would be to add a gauntlet with drawstring to the 1430, now that would be awesome

The only important thing to me about winter work gloves are their durability and warmth factor. As long as they're tough enough to last through the toughest of jobs while keeping my fingertips from freezing, I consider them good. These gloves as well as the previous pair of well lamont gloves I own do a great job at just that. No complaints here when it comes to working 10 hours a day in a warehouse operating a machine while wearing these gloves. If you're considering buying them and are not sure. Take my word for it, they're worth it.

I bought these gloves for snow removal and absolutely love them.I was tired of buying the cheapest ski gloves at local stores to protect my hands during snow removal. By the end of one clearing, the cheap ski gloves would be soaking wet and my hands frozen.I bought these gloves and couldn’t be happier, the leather outer shell keeps the moisture out and the furry lining keeps my hands toasty. I expect these gloves to last years.

Tips of my fingers get cold at +15F in these. Which is frustrating, because we're going to get a lot colder in Alaska. For a 1-2 hour backyard project they are fine, but I would not include these in a walk home bag in the truck. So far they are holding up ok to light chores, but these don't appear to be of a quality that will last through the whole winter. They are relatively easy to get off and on. Like many cheap gloves, the seams are cold and the fingertips not great. Get them if they're on clearance, but don't pay a lot for these.
