Cheap but effective but no grommet that would safety hold solder thru flat steel hole. How much did they save by not including.

Easy to use, 500g of solder won't get stuck when pulling. Simple piece of metal that does the job. Cheap Weller label that should peel off over time and there won't be any Weller branding at all. I recommend buying the Hakko dispenser with two rollers for solder and for tinned wire because I solder guitar electronics and it's just more practical in my case. But frankly, the quality of the metal looks good and solid, the sanding on the bottom to prevent movement is good, and the black paint doesn't look or feel cheap. I'm happy with it anyway

I use this to put a small spool of 26 AWG copper wire for electrode leads secure. It makes the most pain in the ass part of the job a breeze (wanting to coil back up).

This holder does its job quite well. It does not move across the work surface, no matter how big a roll of solder you put in it. I solder aftermarket automotive lighting for a living, we use these exact solder-mates without any issues. That's why I bought this one for home. Definitely recommend this.

Thin metal yet it is still somewhat sturdy. Removing the cylinder to put the solder in the holder is quite basic but works effectively

Personalmente quedé muy satisfecho con este producto, cumple su función satisfactoriamente y a diferencia de una opinión en donde decían que era muy ligero y se movía al jalar el estaño, al usarlo me resulta muy firme, no se mueve cuando jalo el hilo de estaño ya que el peso combinado del rollo de estaño con el peso del dispensador y las patitas antiresbalantes evitan que este se deslize. Me gusta su diseño. Además el cambiar, poner o quitar un rollo de estaño es sumamente fácil. Solo un detalle: el tubito de aluminio suministrado venía un poco más largo de lo apropiado ya que al ponerlo en su lugar abría las paredes de lámina del dispensador haciendo que este luciero deforme y nada estético. Solucioné este pequeño detalle recortando el cilidrito de aluminio a la medida apropiada y quedó aún mas fácil de cambiar.
