I'm learning that the great thing about welding curtains is that they keep you from accidentally setting things on fire, and that they're an essential though often overlooked part of safe home welding practices. Don't skimp -- spend the nominal amount and get this welding curtain. It's functional, it's durable, and it's a great value for money.

This matched my expectations perfectly. This is a nice, HEAVY, fiberglass welding blanket. This is great for protecting any area from globs of molten metal, smoke and fire damage from oxyacetylene welding, etc. These are great because they last a really long time, but they are super heavy. This is something I would get for the home shop, not something I'd want to take into the field if I could avoid it. That being said, if you can remember how to fold it up, there's a convenient carrying bag that it comes with. I'd recommend this, if you're a weekend warrior like me it'll be the last one you'll ever need.
