The mode button does not respond on this device, which means you cannot change from rectal mode to oral mode, all other buttons worked

Welch Allyn is a great product, but this item was depicted in a way that led me to believe that I was getting a rectal probe in addition to the usual oral probe. Not the case! It only comes with the rectal probe and I intend to use it in a school setting. Anyone foresee issues with taking a rectal temperature on students? Included in the description is a picture of the unit with the blue (oral) probe and the following verbiage:"Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #250,023 in Industrial & Scientific (See Top 100 in Industrial & Scientific)#254 in Oral Thermometers"I can't find a number to, so it looks like I will have to keep the rectal probe and fork out more public tax money (school money - another $80) to order the oral piece. :( Very unhappy Amazon!
