I got this to put in my first aid kit. And having an extra thermometer is a great thing to have . They don’t take up much space.

This might be an issue with this style of thermometers or this particular model, I'm not sure. But I just took multiple readings (oral) with both of the thermometers in the set, and the readings varied from 97.3 to 98.4. I am not sick, and my temp does tend to run low. Also, for all I know, household thermometers have an expected variability of about 1 degree. Really, when you use them, you generally want to know how bad a fever is and a specific reading might not be needed or expected at home. (There's a lot of potential variation anyway, just in terms of where you hold it in your mouth, although I tried to be consistent.)I think these are fine, but not excellent.
