Fits my 10 x 12 plate perfectly. Hook-and-loop closure is made of good quality to hold the plates. Everything is great about it, including it's affordable price. For military use, it's slim profile is good to use for vehicles.

I bought this along with plates for protection while on duty and let me tell you. Not only is it very comfortable to wear but the plates stay in place with no worry in the world that they would either shift around or fall out of the vest. This is a great buy for a great price. I feel very comfortable wearing this a long with the two plates without having to worry if God forbidden that I should allow anyone get close enough to me to do any type of harm being with a knife or a gun I feel very strongly that I am very protected and that I will be going home at the end of my shift.The shoulder straps are not digging into my shoulders being that it's being weighed down by the two 6 12 pound plates along with my other equipment and side arm. The Velcro is super strong and has not lost it's strength.

I have old dumbbell plates that fit great. Add 20 pounds to the vest and go on hikes or workout with it. Easy on, easy off, adjustable. Built good. Way cheaper than name brands and just as good or better.

As a former Marine, I know a thing or two about tactical vest and this one is actually more comfortable than the ones I have that cost 4X as much. Seems to holding up pretty well with level 3+ plates in them. No ripped stitches or anything. Worth the purchase.
