I got this to hold a microphone, but now that I have it, I also have been using it for a small light and a small camera. This stand is built well and has a good weight to it. I don’t worry about it tipping. The finish is really good and it has a professional look to it. Everything went together perfectly. I like that it is easily adjustable and it holds well even when fully extended. I had no issues with wobbling and it really doesn’t take up much space. I haven’t used it for vertical filming yet, but I intend to and it’s awesome that the ball head tilts. The very bottom of the stand is finished and smooth and should not mark my desk. Great stand!

Got this to use with a trail camera, like that it had a weighted base, was extendable. It's been great, hasn't been knocked over. Has been in the rain a dozen times now with no signs of wear, I know it wasn't designed for this but it was cheap enough and fixed a need I had. I'd easily recommend this to anyone looking for a secure camera stand for lightweight cameras.
