Since my camera has its own adapter to change the angle because it is designed to hang on the monitor, I didn’t need to use the extra swivel ball to attached my camera. I used its standard sized screw hole, to attach it right to the top of the stand. Works great!

This product is great for getting that webcam position just right for eye contact in a virtual meeting. Everyone I've met with since getting this stand has commented on how nice it feels to experience direct eye contact in a web meeting. Adjustable, and fits most standard webcams!

I have too many monitors on my desk. I also don't like my webcam to be position above my head pointing down at me. In steps this nifty little stand. I especially like that the upright is off centered because it means I can get it into better position between a couple of my monitors and get it to exactly the right height. Plenty of room left if by chance I grow a few more inches. Standard mount for most webcams. I went from a Logitech to a Obsbot and both worked very well.Good item, a bit more than I wanted to pay but like my Dad likes to say, buy it right, buy it once.

I use a very large computer monitor. When I put the webcam on top, it always looks like I'm looking in the wrong direction. With this I can put the height of my webcam at the right height for the size of my monitor so that I looks like I'm actually looking in the right direction. If this is a problem for you, you should measure how high your camera shoulf be so that you buy a camera holder that is the right height.

This helped me get the right position for doing my podcasting as I can have the camera in the direction of the screen so it always shows me looking at my guests and not away from them. This is my permanent set up now and I am glad I bought this.

The base is wide and sturdy. There is a soft material on the underside to prevent scratching the table. The telescopic rod fits to the base very snugly...almost too snug. Had concerns assembling but all is well (with the base and rod). It will support a camera just fine. And with the telescoping rod, I can set it to the height I want (not too tall, not too short). And packaging the desk stand was a work of art…no wasted space, but very secure and well protected. However the fit/finish between the telescopic rod and the ball head leaves much to be desired. See photos. The 1/4" threaded screw seems to be inserted at an angle relative to the telescopic rod (strike one). Not a big deal since it's a ball head. But the ball head can't seem to be screwed all the way down (strike two). It's snug and not going anywhere, but not at all aesthetically pleasing.Looking at the 1/4" threads more closely, screwing the ball head onto the post feels like it's getting stuck...as if the threads on the screw are cut different than the ball head insert or maybe it's just poorly cut threads (a lot of garbage metal seems to be in-between the threads). This is likely why the ball head won't screw all the way down...the brass insert is binding against the threads (strike three).Maybe I just got one that's a bad example of the product. Great concept, well thought out, marred by poor quality control.
