This is a useful piece of hardware that I didn't realize I needed. I don't do many zoom calls, but the times when I have I had to look around for a stand for the camcorder. This one has a solid shaft that has a very good height range and will also work to position your device to scan documents. The wide base gives it stability but it's not too heavy due to it being made of aluminum. The base has a non-slip rubber material too. I am impressed with the ball swivel that gives you a standard 1/4in screw and the phone holder that you can attach to it has a cold shoe. I like this stand and it's now got a permanent spot on my desk.

That's great for work, but not so great for meetings - I don't like how my webcam presses against the display panel itself when it's sitting atop the monitor. Luckily it has a 1/4 inch threaded hole on the bottom, and luckily this desk stand works beautifully. It's solid, had enough mass to not tip easily at all, it's the perfect height and has lots of little fiddly bits to attach to the camera and let it be adjusted just so. Since 1/4-20 is a standard thread, it also works great for some microphones if yours has that fitting. The materials used are all of good quality, the fit and finish is likewise good. I'm very happy with it.
