I orderd a brand new version and received one marked with a sticker stating "Thanks to you, this product has a second life". The product itself is fine and works, with one minor issue, the c-clamp locking knob was not present. This makes it difficult to keep the boom arm from spinning, still usable. I would've have filed this under "missing items", but then I would have to return it and I still need it.

this arm is very good because it doesn't move its position. for $16 its a steal. especially for online classes when you have to resent a project

The 82 reviews are not for this product. I cannot get the clamp to work. The small round brass clamp dish does not stay on the screw. The whole arm is compromised because it won't stay on my desk. :(

This is old technology, but just the right application. I have a 40-year-old lamp of the same construction. Easy to set up and use. Easy to take down. It works and will last.

Sturdiness is not great Quality is poor and range of motion was less than poor not worth your time or money!
