I am an amateur videographer, one might say. (Read between those lines...) I've purchased MANY tripods, camera mounts, phone mounts, cold shoe mounts, 1/4" mounts, etc. While not a photo or video processional in any way, I have lots of experience with similar products.I was VERY surprised at how high quality this stand is. (I use it for my iPhone when I am on Zoom calls using the "continuity camera" feature to connect my iPhone to my MacBook as a webcam.) The rubberized bottom is heavy and great at avoiding scratches on my desk.The phone mount piece on top is equally as impressive: a lot of my other phone mounts will sort of sag or tilt when you attach the phone. (In other words, you get the mount in the right place, tighten the knobs to keep your phone level, and then put your phone into the holder -- and the knobs start to slowly move until the camera is no longer level, etc.) This stand does not have that problem. I adjust the stand where/how I want it, I adjust the phone mount piece on top how I want it, and.... it stays. It stays even once I add the phone into the mount. This is the FIRST time I had a product that didn't slowly sag and tilt over the course of a call/video.I like this product so much that I searched to see what other products this company makes, hoping for a variety of tripods or mounts. Unfortunately the product lineup is small -- maybe their focus on this mount is why it's so good.(This written review page asked me to review "camera quality" which doesn't make any sense. The camera is not included.)

This is just a straight tube with vertical adjustment and an adjustable head for angle. It works ok for my needs, but some type of angle adjustment half way up the shaft would be better for my needs.

This camera mount will securely position your desktop video cam on a pedestal mount atop a telescoping tube. It's footprint is seven inches in diameter, atop which you can place other desktop items. I chose the longer tube as I have two monitors. The camera was precariously mounted atop one monitor, but it was never the proper height or angle. This pedestal mount solved it all.

If you do a lot of web meetings, this stand will make you look better. Many people use the built in web cam on a laptop and it's usually looking up your nose with a very unflattering angle. Or the screen is tipped so that people only see the top of your head.Do yourself a favor and get a USB web cam and this stand. Position the stand behind your laptop or your monitor. Ideally your web cam should be near or slightly above your eye level so that it's not looking up at your nose.This stand is very sturdy. The base is heavy enough that a USB web cam is not likely to tip over. I didn't have to extend it up very far to clear the top of a 32" monitor. At first I had trouble screwing the post onto the base. Then I figured out I had to extend the post a little bit. The inner part of the post was all the way down and blocking the threads on the outer part from screwing onto the base.The ball head adapter is very good quality. Most stands would come with a really cheap small ball head.The cell phone holder works great. You could use your cell phone as a web cam with the right software. You can also use this stand to make videos to post online.
