We had an old box from the cable company on the outside of the house and it was a mess. We have never had cable, so the setup was from the previous home owners. I use coax for MoCA and a powered television antenna. I pulled all the old stuff out, and used this for a newer, cleaner setup. The box is nice because you can drill the holes wherever you want.

This is a good quality weather tight box with a soft rubber like ring around the lid so that it seals when the lid is closed. The chassis plate in the bottom is of the same quality plastic as the rest of the box and is held in place with two screws with the option of securing it with two more. I am configuring this for a WIFI switch to be mounted in the attic. I chose the plastic or non metallic box so as not to have to have an external antenna. The box has four detachable mounting ears that attach to each rear corner and extend out from the corner to make mounting easy. Overall, great buy for the money and the next best thing to a metal container.

I bought this to use on my boat so I wouldn't have to drill access hatches. It's been on the boat for 2yrs now and still holding up great. We'll worth the money.

I purchased this to encase my outdoor sprinkler system controller and weather sensor. It came with everything I needed to mount the case to the wall, attach and install the sprinkler components inside the cabinet, and the gromets to run all the electrical wires through the casing and make it weather proof.The material is a solid plastic that is well made and thick enough to provide the protection I need. The only things that may have a longevity issue with harsh weather is the tabs that are used to latch the door to the casing. They're thinner plastic (hence the 4 stars) and I hope they don't get affected by the extreme hot and cold weather and become brittle and break off. I wish that these latches were metal clips to be more durable over the long haul. Time will tell...Overall, very happy with the purchase and how it works in my use case.

Mounted this on a telephone pole that has an owl house on it. This box holds the battery and solar panel controller for a camera in the owl house. I painted this to offer some protection from the Arizona sun.

I’ve ordered three of these now! Needed waterproof enclosures for my Christmas light show controllers. These work perfectly! My only concern is the plastic snaps holding up to the cold weather. I hope they don’t get brittle and break. Time will tell. The included back plate for mounting equipment is awesome considering other brands charge extra for one.

Used this on my Jon boat to put my fuse panel in and mounted my switches to the outside of it. Water tight, enough space for all my wires to run to fuse panel and then to the switch panel. I also put the battery cut off on top of the box. Keeps everything compact and clean in my boat.
