Drill the holes using a 12mm drill bit
Insert the M12 expansion bolts, then take nuts off
Attach the brackets andtighten the nuts

for the price and way they work, they are great. Glue the end caps on and problem taken care of.I filled them up and they seem very sturdy attached to wood studs.

...wall mounting. I have access to some steel strut, so I'm gathering parts to make a custom weight tree, and for that, this is an in expensive and quality solution. As stated, there are ABS rings included to prevent the weights from contacting the attachment bolts, a nice touch.For what it is, what it does, and what it costs: Five StarsI am the Totally Unbiased Reviewer Dude (T.U.R.D.) and that is how I see it.

Great build and look—hold at least five 45lb plates each. Main issue…end caps slide off or pop out every time you pull a plate off. I guess glue will help like one other review mentioned.

Great quality! I used these on the rear of my smith machine for more plate storage. Theres no way Id mount these to a stud or block wall. I’ll be afraid the wall would not hold the weight or get loose over time. In my case I mounted them with through bolts (that I picked up at the hardware store) to the steel frame of my smith machine. I might also add one or two of these to my dumbbell racks.
