Mounted to studs. Holds well. Posts will get scratched as there is no plastic sleeve over the metal where you slide the plates on.

I found that one of the brackets was missing a rubber plate protector collar. Hoping this review can get another one sent to me as I was unable to find any option to contact the seller. Would be 5 stars otherwise. These are very strong.

I am really happy with these. They are very sturdy. I put 2 x 45’s and 1 x 35 lb plate on one holder and it is rock solid. They came supplied with heavy duty drywall anchors. I would not recommend attaching these to drywall- I chose to anchor into to studs (with the bolts provided). Make sure you have a 11/16” socket ready.

I’ve oddly enough bought a couple different styles of these but this is the only one that I like. The issue I’ve had with others is the cap/end. They’ve always have an insert that pops out every time you slide the weight off. These are the only ones that have solved the issue with a solid cap. It’s more integrated somehow. However they did it, it works. I like these and highly recommend them.
