I have not mounted this yet as we have to build the walls in our downstairs basement. Right now there is nothing to mount it on.From a product perspective, this is composed of some really heavy steel plates/strips. It is a heavy item. The welds look strong and it is easy to assemble. It might not be easy to mount depending on your setup, since you have to put this deep into studs. In our case, we have a "superior wall" system that requires you to build your own inner frame for hanging heavy objects like this. It will take some time. The only negative for me is that the unit arrived with some scratching and damage. I don't need it to hold my full weight collection as I have trees for that. this one is just for smaller weights and for bars.

This barbell rack is even nicer in person than I expected! It's super heavy duty and comes with huge bolts and deep anchors for putting into walls. I wouldn't put this just into drywall but aim for studs, but due to its shape at least some of the bolts will need to go into drywall so it's very helpful that they included some of the largest anchors I have ever seen! If it ever pulls out of my wall eventually I will update.Star Ranking Rubric: 🌟⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Outstanding product, exceeds expectations, would purchase again/recommend to friends, family, clients ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Great - Excellent product, meets and somewhat exceeds expectations, would recommend, has room for improvement ⭐️⭐️⭐️: OK – Decent product, may contextually recommend, has definite shortcomings but is functional/serves a purpose. May havesome misleading advertising or information lost/misconstrued in translation, but can be improved ⭐️⭐️: ‘Meh product. Sort of works, or has serious shortcomings. May be a result of false advertising. ⭐ : NOPE!/Avoid/It's a TRAP. May have a use much like anything found in a junk pile can be repurposed…. unless it's harmful to yourperson, others, and/or the environment….✍️Will update any review if long-term use results in significant changes to opinion/critique.

I installed this in my home gym, and it keeps my weights and barbells neatly organized. The setup was straightforward, and the rack feels sturdy enough to handle heavy loads.

I'm able to put almost all my weights up and keep them well organized and i don't even worry of it's strong enough the screws are massive with strong threads.

This plate holder is deigned well to save space for your home garage. I serves the purpose of holding my 10, 25 and 45 pound plates and keeping my gym area clean. Two stars knocked for the lack of padding in the packaging, which led to some battle scars on the tree itself. If they were to figure that out, it would be five stars for me.

These racks are definitely strong enough to hold a good amount of weights. Their piping for placing weights is the larger diameter mounts, so you cannot put your smaller diameter barbell weights on this. The storage rack, and the way it is built will definitely be no concern for it's ability to handle within the weight range allowed for these. What one does need to ensure is the storage rack is mounted properly into something that can support that weight. The kit for install comes with approximately 3 1/2 inch lag screws for mounting into wood. Since we are building a gym and still have our walls exposed we were able to create some good wood mounts for the rack to mount into. Plus, you don't want to mount it too high since you are going to be using it to grab weights from. It's a very easy install if you have what is needed to mount it into, and serves its purpose for exactly what it was made for.
