I don’t know why the other reviews were bad but this works perfectly fine as long as you find the stud. I didn’t really need to buy this as I had a single rack but I could’ve used the extra storage room and bought this double rack and I installed it on the stud and currently 2 bikes and a snowboard are hung on the rack.I recommend

Some reviews here talk about this product falling down or being weak. I can say with 100% certainty that if you mount this correctly, which means finding your studs and drilling into wood, it will be very sturdy and more than capable of carrying two bikes. The bad reviews are from people who did not mount this correctly.

A bit flimsy, but easy to install with long screws included nice compact design and held two road bikes just fine but I wish it was a bit stronger feeling

Holds two bikes closer together than I’d prefer but does so very securely. The small shelf is perfect for a helmet but not much extra space for other gear
