I find these to be great for hanging bikes in my garage. I find the hardware to be junk.I simply cut a piece of 3/8 inch plywood, approximately 12”x 20“, and secured it to two studs (16” center to center) in the wall with bolts. I then mounted this unit to the plywood. The hardware and the kit is junk. Do not mount these to sheet rock as they will break under load. Use plywood.

The clamping collar for the fork that holds the bike will not tighten safely. Over time this will slide out and the bike will fall.

Stable Bike racks. Finally organized our garage and needed to hang the bikes. ordered these to get them off the floor. Once we figured out where to hang on the wall. We followed the directions and got to it. The only thing we did differently is we attached these to a piece of 2X4 and then drilled into our studs rather than directly into the drywall like indicated in the directions. Worked out perfectly. Will try to attach a photo to review later. But very stable. Highly recommend.

Got these for my grandson so he could have a strong, stable way of storing his mountain bikes in the pole barn. He had them mounted in no time. I like that they are up and out of the way, not taking up floor space. He likes how easy it is to put the bikes on and off of them. It was a good choice for the task needed! He mounted them above each other on a support post. I recommend them.

Priced at $30 for a set of 2, these hangers offer excellent value. They are sufficiently sturdy and exhibit minimal play once weight is applied to them. Unlike many equivalent products, the hanger posts are knurled, preventing them from sliding out of the tubes when clamped down. The only problem is that the holes on the mounting plate are too wide apart to affix the hanger to a single wall stud. However, don't do something ridiculous like mounting the hangers at an angle or using drywall anchors. Instead, drill two new holes along the center of the plate, throw away the useless mounting screws that were included with the hangers, and get some 5/16" lag screws that are at least 2 inches long. Then use these screws to mount the hangers to a wall stud. That way, the hanger won't be going anywhere unless you plan on bringing the whole wall down with it.

A decent product. The best feature is that the screw-holes align to just one stud which increases stability and removes the dependency on drywall screws. For my case, I would have preferred an adjustable distance from the wall because it sticks out about half an inch more then I prefer; but, nonetheless it still works well.

Agree with all the comments about the anchoring system. Either get plastic anchors OR ATTACH all 4 anchors (expansion screws) to the bracket and tap them into the holes you've drilled in the wall. Then you can tighten the screws and get the anchors to "grab" behind the wall.If you put the anchors in the wall and then try to screw them in, you will probably lose them into the wall.Installation instructions are overly simplified and not overly useful.

Excelente producto de buen material, muy fácil de instalar y se sienten de buen acabado, pero tuve que poner otros tornillos y taquetes de mejor calidad, ya que los que trae expansivos no son muy resistentes.

Once you get the rack assembled and up on the wall, it's solid, but the part that attaches to the wall, and the hook itself, require considerable force to put the two together. It's simply a case of slipping the "pipe" end of one into a slightly bigger "pipe" on the other, but it looked to me as if they were the same diameter. I had to ask my neighbor to connect them for me, and he nearly gave up. It just doesn't need to be that hard!I also had someone else install it on my garage wall, as my DIY skills are pretty much non-existent. The handyman had to attach a couple of pieces of wood to the joists because the spread between the pairs of screws (top and bottom) were too wide for the joists themselves.
