I love this inexpensive little spatula. So much so, I immediately bought another one for a gift. Is it perfect? No. But does it do what it's supposed to? Yes.I've used mine almost every day for sandwichery since about November of 2023 (May of 2024 at the time of review), and it hasn't snapped yet, or grown legs and ran away with the spoon. But it will rust if you leave it sitting in the sink with water on it. Is that a bad thing? Not really, if you know how to take care of steel utensils. I have carbon steel utensils and a wok, and have learned how to care for them: keep them dry, but if they get a little rust from sitting in a wet sink, medium steel wool will polish it up in a couple seconds. The same rules apply to this spatula. Just keep it dry until you need to use it, then wash it, dry it, and put it away. If you're lazy (like me) and leave it in the sink, _it will rust_, but I'd probably rust, too, if someone left me in the sink after making a sandwich.With the above in mind, I knocked a star, because if I recall correctly, the listing mentioned the spatula was made of stainless steel and would not rust. Heh. Otherwise, it's a great spatula, it's cheap, and it does what it's supposed to so long as you take care of it. So long as you don't try to use it to fight off an invading horde of anthropomorphic peanut butter and jelly sandwiches attempting to capture Castle Jamberry, you'll have a decent spatula for the price that'll probably last a short while but do it's job well with a little pampering.

Nice sturdy little tool. Did great for spreading icing over a cake in a 9x13 pan. Easy to get to the edges and the rounded end made it easy to spread icing into the corners of my rounded pan.
