Great adapter for my doorbell camera

I needed something to power my new Nest Doorbell wires 2nd gen and this is doing a great job.The cord is long enough to get where I need to go and I haven't seen any reports from the Google Home App of power issues.I also clipped the full circle connection to be a "U" shape to be easier to install to the back of the doorbell. Made it a lot easier than having to unscrew both screws fully then install them fully again.

Perfect! This is the one for the nest 2nd gen wired camera. I even have it installed with a wireless door chime and it works perfectly.

We couldn't get our nest doorbell to charge with a regular hard wired transformer. This easily snaked in through the wall when taped to the old wiring. You do have to unscrew the small screws on the doorbell completely in order to install since the ends are not forked like the original wiring, easy enough but was a small struggle due to how tiny the screws are. Plugged into our basement outlet and keeps the doorbell charged and working. Way longer cord than I needed but I thought there was a longer distance through the wall to the doorbell than there actually was.

Works exactly as intended... after about 30 minutes of troubleshooting. Ill try to save you some time.1. It does not matter which wire goes to which screw2. It will not power on without batteries installed to do the set up3. When setting up you must select the wired option and select "Mechanical Chime"After this, when you check the Battery Level it should no longer show "Battery Level" instead it will display "external power status" when looking in general settings.I also wish that the size of the plug was much smaller because I had to cram it into the socket next to the plug I use for the blink camera.Other than missing instructions on how to set it up, when you actually get it set up, it works as intended! No more finding that specific tool to get the Blink off the wall to change the batteries!
