The color is great and they play well, however mine have not lasted. I've had three balls so far crack out of 6 used. One lasted less than half an hour. After contacting Vulcan, they had me fill out a form so they can track manufacturing information. They offered a discount for my next order which I will most likely not use.

Between this, Selkirk S1 and Franklin X-40, its definitely this ball. Selkirk is by far the most durable but the Vulcan is live, comes off the paddle predictably and the flight path is true. I've stopped playing with everything else.

I bought the Vulcan V-Pro balls because they are used in PPA pro pickleball tournaments, and they did not disappoint! They are solid, highly durable, and have a great bounce—much better than the Franklin X-40s. Perfect for competitive play!

These pickleballs are great quality. I spent a lot of time researching pickleballs and these kept coming up as some of the best. They did not disappoint. They have great bounce and are a great value for the money.

A little "poppy" when using for the first time but when worn in, perfect! Will be buying again

2 out of the 6 balls purchased cracked on their first night of use. Conditions were not extreme, 51°F and normal gameplay use. Contacted Vulcan to see what sort of warranty they offer for balls and was told “oh well, it happens.”I’ve had Franklin X40s and Selkirk balls that have lasted for months of normal use without issues.

I was skeptical. When these balls became the "official" ball of the Professional Pickleball Association tour (PPA), the pros revolted. Apparently there were a lot of issues with the first generation of these balls. That seems to be fixed in the current generation. I'm playing in a PPA tournament next month. I typically use Franklin X-40 or Selkirk Pro S1 balls outdoors. The Franklin balls are considered the standard by most clubs. (I have over 200 of them I use in a ball machine.) The Selkirk balls seem to hold up well and have a great no-crack warranty. So, I was skeptical to try the Vulcan VPRO Flight balls. They are extremely shinny which makes them appear very hard though I found them to be very similar to the Selkirk balls. After an hour of play on an hard court, the shine had worn off as the scuffed up a bit. This allowed me to get more spin and curve on my shots. Overall, I think these are a great ball. Better than what I expected. However, at the cost, I don't see a compelling reason to switch to these from the Franklin balls which I can typically source for lower costs in bulk on Amazon.

I've been playing for months with Franklin X40's while I was pleased with their Performance we started experiencing a lot of balls cracking. I decided to give this Vulcans a try and man they're fast! I enjoy their bounce and very bright color which makes it really good to see under less than favorable conditions at twilight right before the lights come on. They feel solid and not as soft and squishy as other balls in the market. I definitely can see my self using these as my go to pickleballs

As most sorry, know that this ball in particular has a reputation of durability issues. Yes, it did not last a day of play in 60° weather but it could possibly have lasted longer. If I have played indoors or when it was much warmer out. So I give it the benefit of the doubt. It definitely felt much nicer and different compared to the more common x40 or s1 pro it was a little more springier even people who use it the first time notice right away that it did fly pretty well but not absurdly where they are hitting out all the time and the color lasted really well throughout the entire day much easier to see than a Franklin or Selkirk ball.I would buy this ball again just for indoor or even for use in hot weather around mid 70°

These balls cracked in less than a week of use when I’m used to them lasting a few months. Bad quality.
