As a beginner pickle ball player I had an inexpensive smooth surfaced pickle ball paddle. As I continue to improve, I have moved up to this paddle and really like it. I like the carbon abrasion surface. My main goal right now is learning to place my shots so spinning the ball is not a priority for me but I did notice I do get more spin with this paddle. It's light weight and easy to handle. I am a petite lady and this paddle works well for me. For the price you cannot go wrong with this paddle.

I’ve only used this a few times but it’s a very powerful and grippy paddle. It’s allowed me to hit very accurate and controlled shots and the so far the construction seems really solid. For the price point, this is a very great product for a mid level player that wants a paddle to support your growth.

This paddle plays amazing. I bought a set of cheap paddles to learn and now that I'm at the intermediate level I wanted to get a better paddle. Other players have let me use their $200+ paddles and I can feel that they are WAY better than my beginner paddle, and I have to say at my level I can't tell a difference between the high dollar paddles and this one, it plays great! It has really good control, and probably 10× the power of my starter paddle, it's really mind blowing how much difference it made in my game. I feel like I'm ready to take on my first tournament with this bad boy!

Bought this as a Valentine's Day gift for my wife. She loves it as it's a step up from a beginners racket. Great quality for the money

I am obsessed with these paddles. Carbon fiber is where it’s at. Invest in a good paddle and you won’t go back to those cheap plastic ones.

Great pickleball paddle especially for the price. Great grip on ball for spinning the ball when using it.

Quality is exceptional. Compared it with my SLK Neo (SLK is great paddle for practice) and its like night and day. Carbon fiber face provides excellent grit and easily allows increased spin rate. Control and feel is perfect. Most of all it doesnt break the bank, its on sale and you hv the option for 2 paddles. Excellent buy

I used this paddle for the first time today. It seems light and easy to handle, with a very comfortable grip. The textured surface definitely enhanced my spin shots, both in serving and returning balls. The paddle also gave me good control. I was hitting fewer balls out. For less than $44, I am very satisfied with this paddle, at least on its first impression.

The price of pickleball paddles is getting ridiculous, so I bought this one for $70 to see how it compares. After a few weeks of playing with it I can honestly say it's one of the best paddles I've used, and I've used paddles from Selkirk, Paddletek, Diadem, Joola...you name it. Great balance, control, power and quality.

A pickleball player who has developed the right muscle groups to repeatedly strike a ball without tiring plus the specialized eye-hand coordination to play this particular sport as well as having enough skill to be consistently accurate with their shots should find that this paddle improves their game. It’s a definite step up from what was likely to be their first paddle, which was probably about 7.8 oz, 13mm thick and had a smooth face. ( If you are new to the sport, get a paddle that is designed for a new player. The very characteristics that make this paddle great for an intermediate player are the same reasons that it is not a good choice for a new player.)This paddle is 8.3 oz. which is on the borderline of midweight and heavyweight paddles. That 0.5 oz. difference in weight will definitely provide more powerful shots. The 16 mm thickness of this paddle will absorb the energy of the ball better than a 13mm paddle. The ball will come off this HVG paddle more slowly than it will for a 13mm thick paddle, but since an intermediate player will have the specific muscle groups built up to give the ball extra power, the net result is more accurate play. For a new player, the better touch and consistency of a smooth paddle is preferable, but the high grit of this HVG carbon fibre paddle will give a more advanced player the spin that they are looking for. This paddle is USAPA-approved. That may sound like an obvious statement but yesterday I reviewed a very similar $100 paddle with the same hallmarks as this one but it was NOT USAPA- approved. The price of this paddle is outstanding. Currently a single paddle is $48 prior to any coupons or discounts. I’m really not sure why the 2-pack of paddles doesn’t cost less than twice this amount, but currently it’s priced at $126.This paddle does not come with a case or a cover and that’s what I would prefer. Some people have their own cases or covers. Others don’t but would prefer to purchase something they choose. In either case, those people would be paying money for something that they don’t want.
