I purchased this for my tent. The stove pipe opening is 5 inches and I have a 2.3 inch pipe off my pellet stove. I was having rain and stove coming in through the space around the pipe. This works amazing. I cut it slightly larger that I thought I would need and I is a tight squeeze to get the pip through - but nothing no more leaking. I am very satisfied with this - great purchase.

I will not be installing this for a few months yet when the weather is warmer and more stable and predictable than it is now, when I will be replacing the shingle roof on my house with painted Galvalume metal. So far, I have bought two like this one, along with a similar unit, and will have to buy several more to seal all the roof vents in my house. With that said, this unit is built of quality materials with excellent build quality. These vent seals should last for many years of exposure to extreme weather and temperatures, so I do not expect to be disappointed with my purchase.

These are great if you can work with some flexibility. But that is exactly what they are intended for. However, if you need a specific size and are looking at these then you are probably just trying to save money. In that case, these not working are on you.

Exactly as described, and good quality. Con: Wish it would have come with a tube of rtv sealant.

I wanted to give this some time on the roof before I left any reviews. I've used these types of boots before so I figured I would give this one a shot and see. The material is a bit thicker than the normal flashing boots that I can get locally so this was a good thing. I have high hopes that this will survive my area's cold temps. I installed this with the provided screws and laid down a bead of my favorite sealant before hand to ensure a nice tight fit to the roof. I was replacing a hard PVC boot that took damage over the years of removing snow from the roof. We will see how durable this is in the coming months. I'll try to come back and add more as time progresses. I have a spare hard plastic boot to replace just incase anything goes wrong. Normally I use these on metal roofs, but decided to toss this on the asphalt roof just to see.

got this to put a 2 inch pipe though my steel roof, was easy to install and sealed well. Used a garden hose at a pretty good pressure and no leaks, works great!
