Worked beautifully as I had a power pole going to an outbuilding and that pipe going into the building was leaking. This was an inexpensive fix and worked great as I couldn't slide something over the top of this pipe as it was connected to wiring. It was a nice supple rubber that fits snuggly against the pipe. The flexible metal base contoured to the grooves of the wavy sheet metal roof.

I;m not sure what the use is for these as they are so small - only 6" across at the base and when cut to use on a 2" pipe only 4" high. Since they do not angle like other boots I don't think these would be good for a pitched roof - though the rubber is so soft it would probably conform. I would be concerned that water might run down the pipe since the rubber would be stretched. The silver flange shown is not thick at all and I would be reluctant to screw this to a roof of any kind without some large fender washers. They are pretty expensive but then most retrofit boots are. Perhaps the listing is misleading since the photos show all sorts of roofs that I don't think this is suitable for.

Rubber is soft and even the thin metal around the base is soft. It is labeled with pipe sizes for cutting to fit. Clamps to hold closed. Items arrived quickly and were bent around base but easy to reshape as needed. Cannot speak to durability but they seem well made. I am using over the top of existing roof vents.Update: The diameter of the base was not large enough to cover the opening in my roof so I had to buy larger one from local hardware store. Tip: Be sure to check the size of your opening at base not just for the pipe diameter!

It addressed an issue with my electrical service drop. The roof jack opening needed to be enlarged to allow more movement. This product allowed me to protect the opening from water penetration without removing the weatherhead.

These seem to be well made, but until they are in place on a roof in Florida, where the temperatures can exceed 140 degrees, I cannot speak for the longevity of these yet.

I used this to seal around a 1" power conduit coming out of my shop. When the previous owner installed a new metal roof years ago, they just silicone around the pipe, but that started leaking. I could not use a regular slip over boot because the conduit has a weather-head with power wires coming into the top. This split apart boot worked great. I had to cut of the top ring to fit the 1" pipe, but it is a tight waterproof fit. The base is also easily formable to conform to the ridges or valleys in your roof.

Seems to be a good quality roof flashing. It is kinda hard to get it cut perfect for a 3/4" pipe
