This is a great quality chimney boot. It was easy to install and fits the flue pipe really nice and snug. It was waterproof even without the collar. Im happy with the product.

I installed an old wood stove in my open (just a roof and one wall) outdoor project shed to help warm up when the weather turns. I have a never-ending supply of small pieces of wood so this does double duty of helping me clean up and keep me warm. This jack fits great over the 6" insulated pipe that I used for the install. I burn the fire fairly hot to keep it clean, but the insulated pipe never gets terribly hot and the jack has no problem. It was easy to trim to fit, and is nice and snug so that the rain doesn't drip inside. Installation was really simple, much easier than the last one I did 20 years ago. Quick, easy, and keeps me warm, I like it.

I use a tent camping stove to heat my living room and kitchen during the winter. The chimney pipe I run thru a window and then up over the edge of the roof. Since its a small 2 1/3 in pipe carbon soot clogs it about twice a month where I have to take the pipe down and knock the carbon out of it. To avoid this I replaced the pipe with 6 in pipe and this flange is what I am using where it goes out the window. Easy to install and the one fire I made it worked fine. No melting or burning smell from it.
