I have a real Irwin Vice Grip from the 1970s that is still working perfectly. So I tried a Milwakee 10WR equivilent and its much lighter metal and so not near as strong. So now I only buy Irwin Vice Grips as they are the strongest of all and this new one even has a quick adjust hex drive on the head of the nurled screw knob you can use a screw gun for quick settings. What a good tool co.

I love these locking pliers. I bought a pair over 40 years ago for my work tool box, they were a lifesaver. I only bought a new pair because I lost the old one. I used them to hold a rounded nut, pull out screws with bad or broken heads and many, many more uses.

Seems well made, and it did the job I needed it for. Can't say that I will use it very often, so this should be the last one I ever need to buy. 7-inch was just right, and seems like it would be the most universal. Like I said, works as advertised.

They're Vise grips. What can really be said? They work exactly as I had hoped and seem very sturdy. They shipped quickly and were what I needed. They clamp well and have no noticeable defects or flaws to comment on.[UPDATE] I ran these over in my truck. Still work like a charm.
