Like the reach on them. They do seem a bit slippery and little loose but might be good for welding certain things. Might try to make some pads so it grips wood, acrylic better. If weight is pulling in a direction not sure how much I would trust it but will help u reach some places that u regularly would not be able to. For the price they are ok for what they do.

I was able to buy this three pack for $35 and I would definitely buy more at that price if I find the need. I was worried about the quality when shopping for these but just couldn't go for the name brand ones at 3-4 times the price. The jaw alignment on these is good enough and I know I could perfect the alignment by snugging things up if ever needed.I was also concerned about the riveted connections and had planned to weld them, but they feel super solid.The only modification I did was to remove the adjustment screws and grind a concave end on them so they pushed the bar more smoothly.
