For this price I will expect the teeth to stay good and sharp and not round over! Otherwise I will be back here and changing my rating. I give it four stars for the price. We’re talking Irwin here and not the original Vise grip company! My old ones only wore out after thirty years. I doubt these are going to last as long as, even with less use.

I have tons of tools…and Vise grips…but these just feel durable and strong. I don’t mind speeding money on tools that work and will last beyond my lifetime. These tools will. So glad I opted for these.

When I got this set of Vice Grip locking pliers, the first thing I did was drag out my old ones to compare the new with the old. The result? I'd be hard-pressed to tell the difference between the old "gold standard" Vice Grip pliers and these new ones. As far as I can tell, about the only difference between the old and new is that one is shinier than the other... that's about it. It's a great product, at a great price, delivered on time, with no surprises. Pretty hard to beat that.
