Our Samoyed loves it. It is indeed indestructible as he destroyed nearly every other toy. He has been playing and chasing this basketball sized hard plastic toy for 15 months. How it rolls on its own and is too big bite make it always fun for him to catch. Eventually he gets tired from the activity all by himself.

Definitely indestructible, but it’s not really something that you can play with your dog with. I have 100 pound female German Shepherd who loves to play yet manages to destroy every single ball/toy we’ve bought her. We’ve been through 6-7 of the Jolly brand & they haven’t lasted, thought I’d try this. I didn’t realize that this was a hard plastic so you’re not able to kick it or throw it to them. It’s really just to roll in the yard.

You might be looking at this thing and thinking what is it. I know I was, but the destructive nature of my pup forced my hand. Was it really indestructible? How? It just looks like a ball. Now first off let me say that it's not blue, or at least the one we got wasn't, ours is red. As for what it is, well, I can best describe it as a giant version of one of those ball pit balls but made out of thicker plastic. It's a very unique find, and my dog seems to like it.

The ball does appear to be indestructible. However, please note, this is not a bouncy ball. This is a hard ball. Think of a very large heavier, ping-pong ball. If your dog likes to bounce the ball on his nose, like mine does, this will not work. It’s not a ball that’s gonna bounce across the ground.

Bought this for my dog when he was a puppy back in 2022. Absolutely LOVES this ball than walkies! Buying another one (I had to go through my order history to make sure It is the same one!!) we will leave it at his grandparents house as we always have to bring the ball everywhere! Great product!

It is a hollow ball made out of quite thin plastic. Does not bounce, very noisy on floors and surface is slippery. When it breaks, the pieces are sharp. But it won't break under normal use.Because the dog won't be using be using it. So normal usage for it is being unused.

Our rescue is half Australian Shepherd and loves to herd her dog friends and pretty much anything that is outside. This ball allows her to have to really think how to move the ball and have fun since she can't grab it with her teeth. She pushes with her nose and her front paws. So funny to watch but she has a ball and is totally exhausted after about 15 minutes. Love how this ball really challenges her. I recommend this ball for any dog that has any bit of energy. She never gets bored and always looks for this ball first (We got a red one) Looking forward to watching her play with it in the snow. Point: This ball is totally hard, yes hard. It is not solid, it is full of air. Be careful when you try to kick it. Use the side of your foot, not your toes, unless you are wearing steel toed shoes. Your toes will take a beating if you are only wearing tennis shoes. Best to just throw it or roll it to your dog.

I purchased a 6 in ball and a 10 inch ball in the past. These were perfectly and completely rounded with no gaps in the seem and no gashes. And I am still extremely happy with the 6 and 10 inch balls but I am very disappointed that I was sent this 8 inch ball I just purchased that I received today it is defective with gaps in the seem and it is unfinished. It looks as though the two parts of the ball were glued or welded together very unprofessionally with indents and deep visible gaps and adding to this there is a gash on the side. This ball is not cheap and I am so disappointed that I paid for a ball that is defective which I don't believe will last very long as the seems appear as though would split due to quality control not checking this item and ensure I received a perfectly finished 8 inch ball that is not defective. I know this is not how these ball should look because as I said above I purchased a 6 inch and 10 inch ball last year and the year before and they were perfectly rounded with no gashes or indented seems and the both have lasted until now with no issues and they are still going strong but this 8 in. ball that I just received is lopsided with a gapped rim half way around the ball where the other half is perfect. This 8 inch ball is defective. I'm so upset because my dog, Snookums, has been waiting for his ball and was so excited to receive it only to find that the ball is not perfect like the first ball I bought but rather put together incorrectly and probably will not last due to this. I'm so upset. PLEASE HELP to resolve this issue fast so my dog can be happy again. It's terrible to pay so much for a ball only to find you were sent a defective item. Quality control should have checked this item before sending it. I'm so disappointed. To update, I requested a return explaining the above. The return process is simple. I was sent another 8 in. ball a couple of days later. The replacement is also not perfect also with an unfinished rim/seem half way around, but it is a lot better than the one am now supposed to return. No one apologized for the first unfinished ball and no one reached out to me. The process of returning for a replacement is all automated via bots with no real people getting back to you and as it appears the replacement item is also not checked by quality control because it was not perfect too, but it is much better and my dog will not scratch his face as much while chasing it like the first 8 in ball scratched his face. I suppose to return the defective ball by the 28th or I will be charged for the replacement. I have decided to throw away the defective ball which I have photographed to show it's defects because I'm afraid if I return this defective ball it will just go back into circulation via automation and someone else's dog will be hurt from it which I don't want to take responsibility for. I would feel terrible if I sent it back and they just tried to sell it again to some unsuspecting customer so I will bite the bullet and I will cover the extra charge to save the same aggravation someone else would have to experience. As I said above I have purchased a 6 and 10 in h ball in the past and they are perfectly rounded with perfectly finished rims/seems that are smooth and not dangerous for my dogs and these are still going strong so in conclusion there is probably an issue with their 8 inch balls. End of the day I'm stuck with a scrap 8 inch ball which I will throw away and a half way decent 8 inch ball which I have now given to Snookums, my beloved pooch all now costing me $36 to be stuck with a second ball that's better but still not perfect.
