This tape head cleaner easily cleans & demagnetizes heads and rollers. It demagnetizes your system by using a spinning magnet, which removes remnant magnetic field or polarity that can distort playback. At the same time, the cleaning tape buffs the heads and rollers. This head cleaner can be used for home, portable and car cassette systems.
This head cleaner should be used approximately every 40 hours of playing time. This cassette is only for cleaning, not recording.

TOTAL GARBAGE!!! Used many of other brands as maintenance for my players for many years with ZERO ISSUES. Tried this one and it sabotaged both players beyond repair 🤬🤬🤬🤬😤!!!!! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY

Al principio no sabía si limpiaba o no hasta que me puse una cinta de The Beatles viejísima que ensució el cabezal (ni se escuchaba). Después de pasar esta cinta, eliminó los residuos y quedó bien limpio. ¿La recomiendo? Pues eso cada uno verá. También puedes limpiar con un trapito que sale casi gratis.

After running the demagnetizer/cleaning tape through my tape player 4 times, the sound quality went from lousy to like new. Hooray! The only downside is that the opening in which to pour the cleaning solution is so narrow that it's easy to miss and make a mess. Boo!

I have an old Teac double playback/recorder tape deck that sounds very low with no stereo at all. I kept using other cleaners but no effect, and I planned to dispose of my tape deck. After seeing some positive feedback from Amazon, I would like to give it a try. After cleaning using the instructions right on the tape cleaner, my tape deck now plays loud with a clear stereo sound. This is an amazing product (made in Taiwan). Thanks

I panicked when a 4 track recorder I had just bought stopped recording on track 2. Ran this kit through it and it was good as new in one minute! Comes with plenty of cleaning solution, but you have to use your own judgement on how much life you can get out of the cassette. I’m guessing 20-30 uses? Depending on the machine? Anyway, for $10, I will buy again.

I had a noticeable degradation of highs in all of my tapes after seconds of playing. I knew my heads were clean. But, I learned that this degradation of highs is a common problem with magnetization of tape heads. After some digging, I saw that this product not only cleans, but demagnatizes. Worked great! Listening to some great music right now!

Avevo un sacco di vecchi nastri che non riuscivo più ad ascoltare perché lo stereo non li leggeva più. Questo aggeggio mi ha pulito alla perfezione le testine e il mangiacassette è tornato come nuovo. Ottimo!
