It's time to update my outdated outdoor water spigots and one of the concerns I had was that the new spigots would end up needing a ton of caulk to fill in the gaps between the spigot back plate and the siding like the old ones did and I would end up with the same situation where it looked sloppy. I was kind of excited when I saw these siding plates, hoping they would provide a cleaner, more professional appearance, and I am please to say I have not been disappointed. These plates fit the contour of my siding just right, they lay flat against the wall and there are no gaps that require copious amounts of caulk to fill. They are the same "white" as my siding and tend to blend in for the most part, and the difference they make is surprisingly significant. Who would have thought fixing that 1 small area to eliminate the caulk filling the gaps between the old spigot back plate and the wall that had stuck out like a sore thumb would completely change the appearance of not only that small space, but the area around it as well. My neighbors have been hanging over their fence admiring all the little changes I have been making at the back of my house and for the life of them they can't figure out what I did to suddenly make that area look so pleasant and inviting. I will be purchasing more of these in a different style to use where I'm going to install outdoor sconces on either side of the back door. Can't wait to see how that turns out.

I used 2 of these next to a mounting block to mount part of the weather cover I was using to protect my security camera. The pitch didn't match my siding (and I knew it before I ordered it) yet it worked amazingly well.It would easily work with a small electrical component or a weatherproof security camera on its own as well.Very good strength.
