The levers to release the rings are a little more sturdy and overall construction is better than some of the other no name brands I’ve tried. Opening a few Viltrox extension tube sets, I find that the construction and feel of the button/levers is somewhat variable, with a range of quality levels (all still better than the other cheap brands). All normal camera features work just fine with the extension tubes, though I don’t usually use most of those when shooting at greater than 1:1

I absolutely love this extension tube! I can’t wait to use it more often on my little adventures.

Fungerande mellanringar, men lite flimsiga. Rätt så helplastiga. Saknar vädertätning.

I honestly thought that my wide angle/macro lens combo wouldn't be beaten when it came to macro photography, but I was wrong. This set of extension rings, coupled with my Canon EOS Rebel t7 18-55mm lens is far more powerful than my seemingly (in hindsight) more expensive macro lens purchase. I am not disappointed in the slightest. I suggest using manual focus on your lens attachment, the autofocus had a hard time...but when I used manual focus, and got in to the right depth, it was crystal clear!

These are a cheap alternative to the name brand extensions, but they’re cheap plastic that can slip off the sensors and stop your shooting. If you’re wanting to do macro photos on a rail… DO NOT BUY.Only buy this if your doing handheld macro shots and don’t mind occasionally missing shots

It works perfectly fine. The material is pretty cheap but It’s a great cheap way to start experimenting with macro photography.

Although the product name touts its "metal mount" the barrels of the.extension tubes themselves are made of plastic and have a bit of flex to them. Also, the mounts are quite tight and I have had trouble removing them on more than one occasion. I am no longer using them, as I am afraid that they will get stuck on my camera body or lenses. If I were doing it over again, I would have just gone ahead and bought a more expensive all metal model.

These extension tubes did not work for me on my 80D. Construction is fine for the price, but there is some resistance in mounting to the camera. Autofocus was not working properly, the camera worked too hard to try to find focus. Manual focus was cumbersome but picture quality was good. My biggest concern is that the tubes caused my camera to shut down repeatedly and I could only restart by removing the battery. I do not wish to risk damaging my camera's electronics so am returning them.
