SK-C68

AF Extension tube set with Bayonet in Brass for Canon (12mm 20mm 36mm)

The SK-C68 Extension tubes are designed to enable a lens to focus closer than its normal set minimum focusing distance. Getting closer has the effect of magnifying your subject (making it appear larger in the viewfinder and in your pictures). They are exceptionally useful for macro photography, enabling you to convert almost any lens into a macro lens at a fraction of the cost while maintaining its original optical quality. This Autofocus Extension Tube Set (12/20/36mm) for Canon from Sevenoak contains three tubes of different length, a 12 mm, 20 mm and 36 mm, which can be used individually or in any combination to obtain the desired magnification. (An individual 25mm autofocus extension tube is available).

These tubes allows you take close-up photos using your Canon DSLR and lenses by placing one or more of these autofocus extension tubes between the camera body and the lens. The back of each hollow extension tube has a Canon mount so that it attaches to the camera just as a lens would, and the front accepts a Canon lens. With metal construction and lens mount index, it can work with telephoto lens tightly, and mount the lens easily. The front and rear caps prevent the dust into the tubes. Designed with all the circuitry and mechanical coupling, these extension tubes are able to maintain autofocus and TTL auto exposure normally. The extension tubes have no optics. By moving the lens closer to subject this way, you get a magnified image. The greater the length of the extension tube, the closer the lens can focus.

  • Make your device match the conditions of AUTO FOCUS when using Canon lens with C68:

    1. Camera supports Auto-focus.

    2. Lens supports Auto-focus, set the switch on AF mode.

  • Try one by one to test auto focus. Dark light or weak light may lead the auto focus failure.

  • Do not use the tube to shoot strong light or strong sunshine, it will harm your eyes in a flash.

  • Yes, both are available. 12 mm, 20 mm and 36 mm can be used individually or in any combination to obtain the desired magnification.

The greater the length of the extension tube, the closer the lens can focus.

Good value products like this can often have looser connections than what would be ideal for macro photography. Such is not the case with this one. The ease of use and simple retention button allows removal and attachment to be very quick and easy. The tight fitment on these lightweight parts allows for confident connection and stable lens attachment.

Don't waste your money, very poor quality product. the first time I tried to use these the middle tube came apart as I was removing it from the camera. I contacted customer support but received no response.

One of the rings didn’t work and the screw action felt like it’s grinding.

I read a lot of reviews before I purchased this item. I don’t know why there were any negative comments at all. These extension tubes are well made with metal and plastic. They are similar to the construction of my canon lenses. They were easy to put on and use. They fit perfectly with my t6. The one thing you have to do is simply set your lens from auto-focus to manual. It won’t be able to focus otherwise. I used mine with a good tripod too. They are stackable but I found if you use all three together you’re basically millimeters from your subject. I took close-ups of flowers and was able to get amazing detail using the lowest magnifier. I haven’t used a macro lens so I can’t compare the two. I do know that this was a very economical way to get awesome close-ups though. I’d definitely recommend these if you’re willing to play around a little bit with getting subjects into focus. Once you do the results are great.

While this is my first extension tube purchase, I am amazed at the results! I was stuck between purchasing a 100mm macro but really didn't want to spend the cash so I thought about an extension tube. As a wedding photographer, it's very important to record important details of the day and I think this set fits the bill. My 70 macro just didn't do the job but with this set - Wow!Right out of the box, its well packaged and came with simple instructions(although they're really not needed). You simply attach to your camera and fire away. This extension tube set allows you to achieve auto focus as if were any other lens on my camera which is a plus for me.I did my first test on my fiance's ring and was very pleased with how close I was able to get! I would say that I saved at least $800 by taking this route and you would never be able to tell the difference!

Amazed how these adaptors work. Need to use with manual setting because the auto setting searchs to much. Solidly built with metal base is a nice feature.

First off, let me say that the macro extension tubes do work, the electronics (auto focus/aperture) and everything. It by far the cheapest way I’ve found to get macro tubes and electronics working, which is why it’s getting 4 stars. Now the bad. Attaching the tubes to to either the lens or camera feels really sketchy. You have to use much more pressure and effort than usual when attaching a lens. When putting the tubes on the camera body, it doesn’t even just twist on like normal, you actually need to press in the lens release button to get it to twist on. I’m assuming the manufacturing tolerances are just not up to what we’re all used to. In a word, they feel janky. If you were hoping to turn your 35mm or 50mm lens into a 1:1 macro- don’t get your hopes up. My wider angle lenses don’t focus with more than the 12mm (the smallest) extension tube on. To use the larger tubes or even all three, I needed to use my 135mm. I’m assuming this is not a fault of the tubes themselves, but rather due to physics, It should be noted however. My 135mm lens does focus with all three tubes stacked together, which is pretty cool.I debated how many stars to give this product, I went with 4 for the time being, seeing as they do work, and at a much lower price than the canon tubes. If money is not an isssue in your purchase, just go straight to the canon macro extenders. I’d even say if you plan on using these often, go for the canon ones. If, like me, you only need them once in a blue moon, they do work.

It is not a macro lens of course, but for the price, it does the job and does the job very well. It takes a bit getting used to, the distance the way you focus with those several or one at a time, but once you do get a hang of it, the pics come out pretty great. Was able to get more detail on some of the smaller items. What I am also happy with is that when I searched for tubes, there were several different kinds, but I like those because of metal design, auto focus that your lens has and they respond to and the quality of the product, as I already learned to like a lot. Over all very happy.

This set of macro extenders feels solid, snaps easily onto both camera and lens and retains full auto focus functionality. Some reviewers complain that it's better to get a dedicated macro lens, but that pretty much misses the point. This provides macro capability with a standard lens - something I tried just to see why people had issues. In my estimation it's user error. If you have skill, these work great on a standard lens.I bought these adapters to use on my macro lens and they allow a whole new level of close up. I'm very pleased with my tests and am actively looking with more detail at the world around me armed with the knowledge that I can capture real details.
