These are the only drumsticks my son will use for his practices for marching band. I guess they work great.

La verdad el material se siente súper bien, la calidad de la madera es tal cual y no se sienten tan tan pesadas como otros pares de baquetas, sin embargo creo que son un excelente par a un buen precio de vale la pena gastar por ellas. 10/10

Many years ago my sister marched with Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps at the same time that Colin McNutt worked with them. I traveled with the corps doing odd jobs that summer (cooking, washing busses, etc.). I never had anywhere near enough chops to march with them, but on a few occasions Colin gave me some technique points and I was grateful (Thom Hannum did once too, which was pretty cool). Long story short, when these sticks I thought I'd try them out.I am a huge fan. They've got a great big bead of a head and feel great in my hand. I work a little with the drum line at the school I work at and I recommend these sticks to all oft he kids.

I confess: I bought this stick only because I found the signature name, Colin McNutt, endearing. Poor gentleman, going through life with a name one step worse than Marty McFly from Back To The Future...he deserves our support! Something tells me that his wife kept her maiden name. Anyhoo, this stick rocks. Why? Beefy at 0.69, and has a huge knob head that is not exactly teardrop, but definitely not barrel head either. I like the rapid taper rather than slow taper design. Winner! Thank you, Mr. McFly...I mean, McNutt! 🥁

Love these sticks. Very heavy but well balanced. A little slick so either tape them up or gnarl them a little bit for some bette grip. These were awesome for me this marching band season and don't show any wear of imbalance after hours and hours of playing.

マーチングを専門にやっているわけではない私でも、通常のドラムステックからの移行がスムーズでした。ソロステックということですが、通常の演奏に支障ないと思います。素人感想ですが。

Jeff Queen solo sticks are the most versatile sticks i've ever used in my career as a marching percussionist. These sticks are admittedly a bit small compared to other sticks but they are quite unique. They feel sleek and are highly responsive when you begin to use them their taper is super smooth and flexible allowing you to really feel what your playing. However the taper can get a little too narrow at the begging making them a little harder to tape but they still work well. The sound ring carved into the butt of the stick makes these sticks great for back sticking as well as any stick tricks. The spherical beads give off a warm sound with a nice pitch to them great for even buzz rolls. The only other issue these sticks seem to have is getting your few "bad pairs of sticks" we all know the sort the ones that sound like crud. But all in all these are some of the best sticks out there for a well rounded marching percussionist to use.
