Anybody with a Bigsby equipped guitar knows what a pain it can be to restring your guitar. The Vibramate String Spoiler is simply a brilliant solution. I have a Guild Jet 90 and after the simple installation of this, I litereally changed my strings in just a few minutes. No frustrating "hold the ball end on the pin" nonsense. Whoever invented this should win a design award ... in all seriousness. Tone of my guitar was not changed at all, and the Bigsby actually stays in tune much, much better. Just get one ... You wont be sorry.

This is my second Vibramate String Spoiler. It is very easy to install and makes changing strings on Bigsby Vibrato equipped guitars faster and simpler. Arkansas Musicworks processed my order quickly, carefully packaged it, and I received it sooner than expected. I will order from them again.

This is a great addition for any Bigsby vibrato-equipped guitar. If you want to change strings on *any* trem-equipped guitar, it’s much faster to change one string at-a-time so you’re not trying to rebalance the whole bridge as you tune up. But if you want to clean the fingerboard, they all need to come off. Bigsby are particularly difficult because the ball end of the string must be placed on a pin on the back side of the trem. It’s no problem to change one string, but keeping all the ball ends on at the same time is frustrating.This is where the Stringmate excels! This little metal bracket wraps around the trem roller and hooks onto the pins. You hook the ball ends into slots that are now in the top of the bridge. Easy and quick to string up, and completely removeable should you want to revert. No permanent changes, if you want to revert.The Stringmate is beautifully made and finished. It does cover up some of the Bigsby logo on my tailpiece (Reverend Greg Koch Gristle 90, which is a great guitar). I’m surprised they didn’t make this out of aluminum, but the steel works well. If you used D’Addarios, you’ll see the colored ball ends which I don’t like, but that’s not a dealbreaker.
