I use this on my beehives to peek at what's happening inside without disturbing the ladies. It works Excellent, the batteries last a long time, and it is rechargeable. It also includes a nice carrying case and has a nice big screen compared to others on the market. I've also used this on my car engine and my circuit breaker box for the house. The thing is fantastic.

I use this tool at John Deere dealer I work as a tech and can say this tool has helped identify over heating issues and a few electrical issues. Even the snap on fan boy in the shop will come ask to borrow it as the display and temperature difference is better then certain other brands.

IOS App needs to be improvised a lot. It is not user friendly and security compliant .App doesn't detect the device even after getting in to device network.

There’s a 1-star app in the AppStore that you have to use for this camera… default language is Chinese.Installed it on my iphone - followed the instructions - cannot connect.Tried on a different iphone - same results**update - it worked on an android device**

Hervorragende Wärmebildkamera zu einem echten Kampfpreis. Klar, die Bedienungsanleitung ist verbesserungswürdig, geschenkt, die benötigt man nicht wirklich. Klar, es dauert einen Moment, bis das Gerät startklar ist. Das würde ich auch nicht anders erwarten. Und die Sensorkalibrierung ist zwar ziemlich gut (ich kann keine Abweichung zu einem IR-Thermometer von Bosch erkennen und mit einem Fieberthermometer muss man es meines Erachtens wirklich nicht vergleichen), aber wenn das Gerät länger in Betrieb ist, weichen die Temperaturen linksseitig etwas ab, weil offenbar Abwärme des Chipsets einstreut. Damit kann ich aber gut leben. Es ist eine wahre Freude damit zu arbeiten. Das Bild ist mit 20 fps recht flüssig. Die Auflösung des Sensors ist mit 240x180 super, ich empfinde das als völlig ausreichend. Ich nutzte das Gerät bisher um Wärmebrücken in Dämmungen und in Räumen zu erkennen, Hotspots auf PCBs und PV-Modulen zu erkennen, Vor- und Rücklauftemperaturen in einem Heizkreis zu dokumentieren, Temperaturen an einer Klimaanlage zu überprüfen, Kältemittelzirkulation bei einer Gefriertruhe zu checken, usw. usf. Fazit: Die Anschaffung hat sich schon gelohnt. :)

Used on our boat to check electrical circuits and wiring for corrosion / high resistance, and insulation on our apartment renovation. I've used a nice handheld flir unit for a research project a few years back and this unit is easily as good for a fraction of the cost. The sensitivity and level of detail is very, very good. The unit seems plenty rugged and has excellent battery life. Some have complained about boot time, I just don't see the issue as I have never had to hurry to get a thermal shot of anything...The case is fine for me, I don't need a lens cap given how recessed the lens is.
