Camera feels really hefty in your hand and feels like a quality product. The handle is comfortable and the buttons and UI are mostly intuitive. You probably will immediately figure it out even if it's your first thermal cameras as it is for me. You can easily toggle color modes to find a color set that works best for the situation and taking a picture is as easy as pulling the trigger on the front. The only real complaint I have is that the on board LCD screen is a bit low resolution and you're generally looking at a pixelated view in the finder. While it's generally not a huge issue it can sometimes be hard to tell if you're pointing the camera the thing you want to measure. Especially if that area is not giving off a strong heat signature.Otherwise this is a quite useful tool to have around. I initially got it to detect drafts in my house and as you can see in the picture of my front door, there's a significant draft coming through the bottom corners as I've long suspected. What I did not expect to discover is that one light switch in my kitchen is running very hot even when off. I included a picture to show this. The other identical switches in the area do not show up on the camera when off which means there's something wrong with that one. I've had some flickering lights at times and now I'm pretty sure I know they switch is bad.My favorite unexpected discovery is walking around in socks then pointing the camera at the floor behind me to see my footprints show up. You can make neat ghost footprints this way which is endlessly amusing to me for some reason.Package comes with a thick braided nice quality USB cable and a wall charger with interchangeable international plug types for most major countries. There is also an included holster and strap which can double as a case. There's about 500mb of built in storage which is plenty for this low resolution images it captures, they're around 40-60k in general. But there is no SD Card slot in this model of the camera which is worth noting if you really need to keep thousands of images in memory. I initially had problems getting Windows 10 to recognize the camera over USB but after switching the input to a USB 3.0 port instead of the 2.0 one I had free it came up immediately in explorer.Overall I'm really glad to have this camera in my arsenal of tools. It's already proved useful and I know it will save my day at some point in the future. I do wish it was a little higher resolution, but for the price ($179) at writing as it's comparable. For my amateur's thermal needs it's certainly fine.

This is a nice little tool and I've used it in real-life, twice now.It shows the differences in temperature so it's very good at diagnosing problems with a car or something that you suspect isn't right. I used it on a breaker box to see if a circuit breaker was heating up and tripping incorrectly. It did show that one of them was hotter than the others and it helped me to figure out what was going on. It can do the same thing to find leaks of air around windows or the house in general. If there is one weakness, it seems to change scales all the time. Sometimes red is 100 degrees, sometimes it's 50 degrees. It really shows the difference between things more than the absolute temperatures. If you hold it very still and look carefully at the screen, you can figure out the temp. There's a trigger so you can take a picture of it and send it to a computer but I have never done it. To be honest, I don't need to know the temperature very often, just if something is abnormally warm or air is leaking. For that kind of job, this thing works great. During the cold snap here, I found that my house was leaking a lot of heat around the base of the foundation. The instructions are hard to understand in my opinion. They don't explain some of the settings very well. I played with it for awhile and I think I understand them better. Once in awhile it clicks and a different lense is put on the sensor and I can't figure out what it does. One of the features I like is a these two small squares that move around the screen. One shows the hottest temperature and the other shows the coldest. On the side is a digital display of the temp at each location. It comes with a nice carrying case with a velcro top.I also like the construction, the whole thing has a nice rubbery feel and the buttons look well constructed. When I first took it out of the package and turned it on, the system seemed to work and so I turned it off and it got stuck in the shutdown mode. It was like that for about 10 minutes and I couldn't figure out how to turn it off. I held the power button for as much as 30 seconds with no luck.I set it down for about 20 minutes and decided to try again. That time it shut down normally. I've used about 10 more times and it's never done it again.Overall, this is a nice tool and I'm glad I have it. I would probably buy one again if I needed to.

The Kalliber View Pro is a small footprint well-built mid resolution thermal imaging camera. I used it initially in a couple of heat detection motor diagnosis and also thermal window and door seal leaks effectively. It's easy to capture an image and to zoom in and I found particularly for the price point it offers very good performance. I would have loved to see slightly higher resolution images but again considering cost this unit comes well recommended. Accessories allow for usage worldwide and a durable case and shoulder strap is provided.

You can spend more and getter better IR resolution, but I think this one (160X120 IR; 320X240 screen) hits a "sweet spot". The IR resolution is more than adequate for my uses (thermal leakage points around the house), and the price seems very competitive for the features.Accuracy of the "center point" reading seems spot-on with other thermal devices I have, so I feel that the overall accuracy is likely quite good, though I'm really more interested in comparative temperatures rather than absolute.Pretty simple operation and buttons, menuing seems okay, and I like that you can do a screen capture and upload it via the USB-C connection cable (other end has a USB-A connector for your computer as well as charging). If you're looking for mechanical hot-spots (like in rotating or reciprocating machines), thermal hotspots, and the like, then this is a good option.
