This was a great purchase! I am an avid jigsaw puzzle builder, and when I enjoy any particular puzzle, I keep it for future enjoyment. My puzzles were piling up with no place to store them. This shelve fit right into an unused nook, was easy to build using my own rubber mallet (the little mallet included with the purchase was not sufficient) and holds all our puzzles with bonus room on top for my yoga mats! The shelf placement is flexible, so you can build to your needs and it looks good. highly recommend.

Easy to assemble - even includes a little hammer to tap the shelf supports into placeA note: it won't just slide together- line it up and tap it in place- the end result is a very sturdy and well held together structure. It took me about 45 minutes to assemble by myself at a leisurely pace. I recommend a soft dead-blow mallet to make them go together with less effort -Note 2 - the base is the tricky part if you're doing it alone - I saw an opportunity to use some clamps to hold the first few uprights in place while I got the foundation squared up and put together - this was a big help (see photos)Note 3- a suggestion- as you decide on shelf height - skip the tape measure - just set the main/biggest item you want on the shelf and place the next shelf up accordingly - I thought at first to make them all equal but instead decided to put the bottom shelf bigger for my jack stands and another "custom height" for my chop sawQuality notesThere is a Nice coating on the metal - I also like the color as it contrasts against the shelves-If you need TRULY HD Shelves you may want to consider the next model up which comes with crossbar stabilizers and increases weight capacity - for me this is fine- rated up to 400lb each I just need it for driveway salt and car tools so this will be plenty and for the price I couldn't be happier

I absolutely love this storage bench! It fits perfectly in my space, and the adjustable shelves make it super easy to customize for different storage needs. Fast shipment, the packaging is to be desired but there were no broken or bent pieces so it wasn’t that big of a deal for me; plus it could’ve been damaged during travel. I do plan on buying more, the only downfall for me is the shelves are bare. If you want it to look really good, get some tack paper to design to your liking. For the cost, it’s worth it 100%. Great buy, very sturdy, you can adjust the shelves height to your liking.

Had it up and in place in no time. Very sturdy and durable. I use mine for a bookshelf because regular bookshelves couldn't handle the weight of most of my books. Can handle a lot of weight, so if you need it tools or heavy supplies, it will do the job.

I’ll start with cons because the list is short. The directions aren’t great and pictures aren’t close enough to understand them. Once you figure it out though you’re getting it together. As stated in other reviews the supplied hammer doesn’t have enough weight to knock the sections into the notches. I suggest a hard plastic mallet if you have one. The plastic end protectors could be better/stronger but these get the job done.The Pros are the co$t. This being very reasonably priced for this size.The shelf when put together is strong and sturdy. I have cases of water on the bottom and no sagging. The flat boards are very nice as they prevent things from falling over like wire shelving. You can also use this as two separate shorter shelves.I may order another one of these in the future and do a build video to help people out.

This was a great addition to help clean up a disastrously messy garage!I picked this shelf because the shelves are adjustable in height. This is obviously great for storing a lot of different things, but I used this specifically with a bunch of 6" x 12" x 18" Sterilite boxes (the common, clear plastic bins), and the combination fit beautifully and keeps things organized, protected, and with hardly any wasted space.The shelves aren't the sturdiest in the world, as to be expected for the price, but once loaded down with weight, they don't wobble, and hold a good bit of weight with no sign of strain at all.

I ordered 2 of these shelves , and here is my summary*Pros:These are very cost effective, and simple to assembleThey fit nicely into a closet or small spaceThey are very sturdyCons:The instructions list a crossbar that is supposed to go beneath each shelf, but neither package contained any such part. I don't think it would be an issue for average use, but might be of concern with a heavy load.Each package comes with a pair of gloves and tiny mallet, which is quite wasteful. The mallets aren't particularly effective, and a commonly owned household hammer would easily to the trick, saving costs for the supplier, and future landfill.Other points of note:The shelves included with this unit are untreated mdf. While it isn't listed in the directions, please be advised that if you choose to paint them, you need to paint both sides to prevent warping. (as a commercial painter, I just wanted to pass it on as not everyone may be aware.)

So, a few of the boxes were damaged and did some damage to a few of the shelves, I will note Amazon took great care of me here.The shelves are a very nice quality for the price. I love that these have the middle support bar on the shelves to prevent sagging, so that’s a huge plus. These are super easy to assemble (use your own rubber mallet with the some weight to them, the little ones included will take you 15 years to assemble lol) I do recommend these shelves for all your organizing needs!

I have put together a few sets of shelves like these in the past, so i have a pretty good idea of what to expect. Assembly is pretty simple, however, the metal is flimsy on this set of shelves. If you use the included hammer and hit the beams hard enough for the pegs to drop down like they are supposed to, the hammer starts coming apart and the metal bends easily. They should meet my needs, but I am not convinced these shelves would hold up to much more than light use. I am also not convinced they will hold together if i ever try to move them. They should not be labeled heavy duty.The shelves are also crooked -- i counted holes between beams multiple times during assembly to make sure everything was level. After i realized the shelves were crooked i went through and counted the holes between shelves again a couple times to make sure I hadn't goofed. The counts still match on all 4 sides. Normally i don't like to leave bad reviews, but overall, I'm sorry to say I am not impressed. You get what you pay for, I suppose!
