I needed to add shelves to a 10.125" wide section of a large, wood storage rack I have in my studio for canvases, but I didn't want to alter the wood rack permanently. I was having trouble finding anything narrower than 12" and then I found this product. The 10" wide rack fits the width of the space perfectly and I can slide it out easily in the future if I need the taller space again without the shelves. It would have been a bit too tall for my space with all four sections, so I eliminated the upper poles and one shelf, for a total finished height of about 42". However, the space I have is quite deep (about 38"), so I just ordered a second one in the same 10x16x55 size that will result in the shelves filling almost the entire depth of the space. It will be perfect then for storing smaller canvases and art panels.I found this extremely easy and quick to assemble, without any assistance. I should add that I am in a wheelchair, so if I can do it from a seated position, with arthritis, bad shoulders and lousy balance, then anyone should be able to do it! I had read quite a few reviews before purchasing it, including some complaints about the shelves not going together or holding properly. If you follow the instructions, it should assemble without any of those problems. There were also some complaints about having to assemble it with the flat side of the wire shelves down, resulting in shelves that are trays, rather than flat shelves. I did not encounter this problem, either. I was able to assemble it with the flat shelves up, so I will have nice, even, long, flat shelves (10"x32") once I set the second rack flush against the first one. This metal rack is strong and sturdy and should hold a substantial amount of weight, although I don't know that I would feel comfortable testing it with 120 lbs per shelf, as the product listing indicates, simply because the clips that hold the shelves in place are plastic, not steel like the rest of the rack.Overall, though, I think it's a great value for the price and I would purchase it again. In fact, as noted above, I already did!

Strong enough for most household uses. Fairly easy to assemble and looks well built. Would have preferred a shiney chrome finish but that doesn't detract from its' usefulness - just a personal choice.

Bought this to organize my networking equipment. Worked out well. The whole unit is strong and just the right size. It's easy to put together and level. Feet screw in/out for leveling. Remember to use a small hammer to tap the shelves down. It strengthens it greatly! A small rubber smaller is recommended. With it set up it shakes a little when I open the printer. But that's due to the small footprint and diameter of the supports. The paint is tough and should be rust free for many years. I bought the black color and it looks perfect against the light color walls and with the black colors of the equipment.

Es un organizador muy práctico y de buen tamaño para poder guardar muchas cosas y evitar que se vean muy amontonadas y desorganizadas.

The shelving system is virtually identical to the MESH system at Price Rite in Hong Kong with the key differences being the shelves face the wrong way to have a completely flat shelf - they have raised edges or lips and the MESH system is fully customisable for multiple sizes and numbers of shelves while this is a single pack with little customisability.Other than that it is easy to assemble and is doing the job required of it.

This is a great shelf. Inexpensive, super easy to put together without tools, and very sturdy. I love it - works perfectly for what I needed. That said, there are some downsides that are in the description/photos/reviews, but maybe not very obvious. Pay attention to what you’re buying.1) Its matte mid-gray. Not shiny metallic silver. It’s like it’s been coated in some kind of paint. Looks nice, but if you think you’re getting something metallic or polished nickel looking, you’re not.2) Some reviews complain about the black stoppers flying off. That’s because they were putting on the shelf upside down. The shelf only goes one way (rim up). If you do it upside down, the stoppers will fly off. If you do it right side up, they are great and very easy to assemble.3) As noted in #2, the shelves only go on ONE WAY. Rim up, like a little fence around the shelf. I can see why some people would like this (stops things from sliding off), but in my mind this is designed backwards. I think the rim should be down and the surface should be flat. In practice, since the shelf has a little fence around it, you can’t really put anything on it that doesn’t fit the dimensions exactly. If it’s a bit too big, it can’t easily hang over the edge. If they put the rim under the shelf instead of above it, you could let large objects extend beyond the shelf limits. Sadly, that won’t work here, so check the sizes of your objects.4) It’s metal (under the paint), and it’s sturdy, but it’s a little flexible. I have no problem with what I put on it, and I’m sure there would be no problem putting a big heavy object on it that can distribute weight, but a SMALL heavy object (like a bowling ball) might cause it to bend if too much pressure is in one spot. These things aside, I thought it was a great purchase and exactly what I needed to clean up my messy closet.

Pictured from L to R : Amazon Basics 4-Shelf Shelving Storage Unit on 3'' Wheel Casters (36L x 14W x 57.75H)SINGAYE 5 Tier Storage Rack 660Lbs Capacity (23.6" L x 14" W x 59.1" H)OVICAR 4-Tier Wire Storage Shelves(12.2 x 17.7 x 40") w/ mini casters.Amazon was definitely the best bang for the buck. I got the Singaye middle grey one for $11 less than list price with coupon (both currently listed $58) but it is lighter duty and has no wheels. That's the main negative on it. I'd give it 4.5 stars. The Amazon one comes with nice casters and feels very sturdy. 5 stars for price. I had to move the Singaye recently and it wobbles a bit when loaded with shoes. I would definitely NOT put over 50lbs on each shelf. Even the Amazon one, I may do 75lbs but not as much as advertised for sure. The Ovicar, the final smaller one, I got for $25 on sale, listed at $40. It's definitely prettier and better suited for shoes, but light duty. 25lbs max a shelf I'd say. Cheap casters but functional. Wish it'd come larger! They all assemble the same. Easy for 1 person to do. One lame thing about Amazon brand is they MUST be assembled with edge down. The metal shelf holes for the poles are angled to fit that direction only. If you had loose items like cans, they could slide off easily if bumped. In my case that's not an issue. Opposite for Singaye, edge up only, so if you wanted a smooth shelf with no lip, that's not going to happen.
