It has a lot of uses. It can be bookshelf or a plant stand. It can work inany room, including the pantry or garage.The color is French Oak, it's a rustic grayish color, darker than light.It's not a bad color. It's easy on the eyes. You can dress it up with anyshade, vintage metal or pretty plants and flowers. What I am saying it'sa blank canvas of a shelf.I dressed mine up by, adding a touch of femininity. I added lavenderplant printed shelf paper to the back wall of each shelf. It's pretty, andthe purple pops against the gray color.I put a pretty cool French mirror above it, it's starting to take on a wholenew look. I really like it, a lot. The shelf is inexpensive, just under 60 buckswith tax.Ok, so that was Pros.If there are pros, there must be cons. But not too many.Just some things you should take note of.You have to build it. The parts are clearly marked with little stickersattached to each piece. Be careful removing the sticker, so that youdon't scratch the surface of the shelves. It's easy to do. with a thumbnail.It has good, not perfect instructions on how to build it.. It's easier if youhave two people, my kid and I put it together, it took about 30 min.to build.And the Cons.Instead of nails or screws, this is solely put together with plastic screwsand directions of using them, that are impossible to do.The directions tell you to push the screws in with your thumbs.Unless you are the Incredible Hulk, this is not going to happen.You need a hammer. But be careful that you don't hammer too hard anddamage the shelf. It's not real wood. There are also poles involved, they arealso plastic, and easy to put on.The shelves will appear weak as you are building each one, but it all works outwhen you hook them all together.Be very careful, as you build each shelf, that everything is positioned correctly.It is impossible to take apart if you do it wrong.After building it, I noticed one of my shelves had a little tiny speck of a scratch.Easy solve, move it to the bottom, right? Wrong. It does not come apart.Once the weird plastic nails go in, they are there for life.All in all, it's a cheap nice shelf that is easy to make it your own. It is decent size.It doesn't stick out and take up a lot of space.I give 4 stars, because you can only give whole numbers, and it is better than a 3.And that is because with a little imagination you make this shelf, what you wantit to be.

I'm not very handy so this easy to assemble unit is awesome. The quality is fine and is quite sturdy.. price is right as well. 100% satisfied.

I put it together in 10 min with no instructions and I am bad at putting anything together. Very sturdy. It’s all plastic except for shelving. Very functional. I organized all my dogs clothes towels leashes etc. it aligned properly and fit well. Screw holes aligned great and easy. The color is rich brown looks like rich engineered wood and heavy enough. Looks very nice. One of the most practical things I have bought this year. And the price was reasonable. This could probably hold some weight but I just needed for miscellaneous.

Furinno (99557LC/BK) Turn-N-Tube 4-Tier Multipurpose Shelf Display Rack - Light Cherry/Black and my thoughts!"Engineered Wood" is about as nifty as the term "reclaimed wood". Neither is correct, really, and the composite wood in these shelves falls under the category of "reclaimed wood". Oh, repurposed wood, also. I think engineered sounds abusive and reclaimed always makes me wonder what court battle it was in that the original owner lost the wood and then had to get it back in such a serious fashion. It's particle board or composite. And it is good!It is a really sturdy shelf and actually much easier to assemble than the typical havy=duty resin or plastic shelves which can crack when you mallet them or hurt your hands popping the poles in. This is so ridiculously easy it is amazing! And it says it takes 3 minutes to assemble (I think) and it took me less! That is with hands that have polyneuropathy and carpal tunnel in both.I got this for my senior cousin as a birthday present -- no, not cheap, cash-deprived (see what I did there?) -- for her carved ironwood pieces that she had all lumped together so close it looked like a hairless, shiny baby buffalo on a board in the dining room, which is also a thrift store with a little antique corner. Well, she is a collector.I assembled this for her and she played shifty-shifty, the game where you move everything around to make room for more, and I helped her get things in place all together and easy to see! She really did all the work, I just moved a few things and checked to see if it was following the 15-pound limit for each shelf, and it was fine! I told her to place the heavier pieces at the ends of the shelves so they wouldn't have a chance to buckle! Always do that with court-appointed, magical, umami wood shelving and flatworks that have space below them. Like...shelves...This shelving unit is sturdy, rocks not a bit, the black poles do not look plastic when put together... they almost look like matte metal, and this would just look great almost anywhere, even in a finer area of the home with how you use it! It is well made but I don't recommend it in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, porches, or anywhere there is moister in the air. No matter how well the material for such shelves is, it doesn't hold up in moist environments. And if you live on a houseboat, well, just pass on this. Otherwise, grab one. Or two! Or three and send the last one to me!I totally recommend this shelving unit! I will be back for another soon, and more from this brand! Fantastic!

I purchased this a while ago, and I’m still in love with it. It’s very sturdy, and can surprisingly hold a lot of weight. I can place a lot of things on the shelf. Colour was just right as in the picture, and this product is overall awesome! The shelf was easy to assemble too.
