My cats recoil and run from it. It is probably a good product, but evidently smells bad to cats

My cat, Aurora, receives one with her food every morning. I've been giving her this brand of vitamins for almost two years. Aurora is a very picky eater, but usually always eats the vitamin with her food. She may leave it if she isn't that hungry and doesn't eat all her food, but she always successfully eats it at the end of the day without much trouble. As for her being healthy, her vet always compliments her fur and her good bill of health; however, this is only one step of keeping your cat healthy. Ensure you're providing a mositire rich based diet and giving other nutrients rich foods/treats. At a point when I had to provide Aurora dry food due to finances, Aurora had a lot more problems eating the vitamin. Switching back to wet food helps so much in ensuring she eats her vitamin.

My cat doesn't seem to mind these if they're mixed up in wet food, otherwise she refuses to eat them plain and as a treat. They seem to have helped her skin, fur, teeth and energy in the couple months I've given her these daily, and I'll continue giving them to her as long as she doesn't know they're there (and I have to figure out a new way to trick her)

Based on the positive reviews, I was looking for a way to support my cat's overall health and decided to try Vetriscience Nu Senior Multivitamin with lysine. I'm thrilled I did!Within a few weeks, I noticed a significant improvement in my cat's energy levels. They're much more playful and engaged, zooming around the house and batting at toys with renewed enthusiasm. Their coat also looks fantastic – it's noticeably shinier and softer. It comes in chewable vitamins that crumble] that my cat gobbles up happily, so the administration is a breeze. I'm confident this vitamin is making a real difference in my cat's health, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-quality supplement for their feline companion.

I have rescues and they're all seniors. Some liked it and some didn't.I received the packages today. On time, handled well but not necessarily packaged well. The product, itself, is in a foil resealable, zipper package but it was packaged in a plain plastic packaging that wasn't even bubble wrap. This being said, I can see where many were not happy about the fact that most of their product was 'dust' or crumbled so badly that they couldn't tell what a proper dosage would be.I've only opened one of the two packages I have bought, so far, but my experience is not the same as some who have stated their dismay about how they received their product. The chews I received are not crumbled or dusty. In fact, they're actually moist to the touch and pliable for the cats to chew. The chews have an almost 'iron' supplement smell to them. This didn't turn any of the cats off but, as I said, some liked the taste and some didn't.This, to me, won't be an issue because I will just crumble them and add them to their wet food - no problem. As I only received them today, I can only speak to the actual packaging, delivery, smell and reaction to the taste of these chews.I'm hoping this will add to the quality of their lives. If there are any negative issues or reactions, I will be sure to update.Otherwise, all went well and according to how I will administer them.

Cat won't touch it, or any food it is hidden in. Maybe it is just my fussy cat!

She's eating them but not enthusiastically. I will give her no choice if she begins to resist. For example, today, she ate 3/4 of it then left the last quarter. I tried to get her to eat it, but not interested, so I put it in her mouth. She swollowed it right down. Next time, I will quarter it before offering it to her, maybe that will help.UPDATE.... She smells it and then refuses to eat it. I have no choice but to put it down her throat. I will not purchase again, it's too stressful to deal with. On the upside, she is gaining weight which is what she needs. She is now a healthy 8.1 pounds from 6.4 pounds. So there's a plus to the fights. I will continue to fight until I find a better alternative.UPDATE ON THE UPDATE.....She still doesn't like them so I do have to force them on her but I must say, I see a marked improvement in her appetite, her grooming habits, her coat, etc. I am unsure if I will buy again, I am going to try getting a masking product, grind the vitamins, put them together and hope she eats them willingly. I just hate fighting with her to improve her health. Neither of us need the stress.I am doing another update on my previous reviews. With the help of Pill Pockets, there is never an issue with feeding her, her vitamins. Now that we are more than half way through the bottle, I am noticing a big difference in her. Her appetite is increasing, her coat looks much better, her hair is no longer falling out in droves. She looks very well. She still doesn't do much for grooming so I help her by combing her out. But she is doing some more grooming than before. Since she is a senior, she still does sleep a lot, but that's to be expected. I do see her play more than she did before when she is awake. All in all, I see a marked improvement in her. I will be buying more after all. Plus I changed the number of stars because of all the positive changes that I've see in my girl. I do recommend these vitamins for Senior cats. I'm a happy momcat.FINAL UPDATE.......I did purchase another bottle because my girl has improved so much with them. I will continue to purchase as long as I can. Hopefully, this bottle won't smell like Cod Liver Oil and I can get my girl to eat it willingly. That would be a huge plus.

I thought these were chewy vitamin treats when i ordered them so was a little surprised when they were hard chewable treats (but thats my fault for reading the description incorrectly). My one cat likes these quite a lot and will eat them no problem. My second pickier cat will eat it eventually but doesn't overly like them compared to chewy treats. Overall the cats will eat them and they get their vitamins so I'm happy with my purchase (though i think they are too pricey).
