This was not the same kind that was there, but it fits nicely.

Simple enough to remove the old fan and install this one. Noise is like a nice high flow fan, this one will do a better job. Much smoother than the old one. Not shipped with instructions. There is an excellent YouTube video from a guy that highlights things to keep in mind. You'll mainly need a quarter inch driver, and maybe a wrecking bar to break the flange free if your old fan is glued on like mine was. Build quality seems comparable to the old fan.

easy to install and pretty quiet, the little sound it makes is just smooth white noise you can tell its well built, and it comes with a foam aft of the fan to help insulate outside air and muffle exhaust noise.

Not too noisy and yet removes a good amount of steam from the bathrooms. I tried many different fans that didn't fit the current opening of my bathroom fans and then found these. They fit perfect and my installer said they were easy to install. I wish I had known they existed and specific for Manufactured homes before all the others and had to return. Exhaust fans just seem over priced for what you get, in my opinion but this works and I probably won't have to install another.

It was a pretty standard installation, since I was just replacing an older model. It's not noiseless, but it's an effective bathroom fan that does the job. The one I replaced rattled causing my wife to antagonize me until I replaced it. The only stickler with the installation was the dog gone cover that goes on last. With no instructions, and none online, one would assume it would be good ol' common sense. Well, after about an hour of staring at it, it was.The looped end (one for each spring wire) stays in both sides of the cover and the open ends, wait for it, wait for it.......drum roll..... come up perpendicular (90 degrees) from the inside of the cover, and when squeezed, fit right in the two horizontal slots, one on each side of the metal frame. Then just push up. I actually had to do this first without the cover attached to one of the spring loaded "V" cover holder wires to insure they could go all of the way up into the ceiling so the cover would fit properly. Here's how. Remove one of the wires from the cover. Invert the spring wire and push up the looped end first to make sure they will go up into the frame. I assure you, they can; just keep the wire close to the frame when you're pushing up. It's not necessary to push it all the way up. Now, take it back out and reinstall it on the frame and put that aggravating cover on. Well now, that wasn't so hard, but it almost whipped my b*tt.
