removable window film

Suitable for all kinds of flat and smooth glass surfaces.

frosted glass film
  • Use a plastic card to squeegee air bubbles and water. If it's hard to get rid of the bubbles, uncover the window film, spray more water between the glass and the film and squeegee firmly again. Water will make it much easier to remove bubbles.

  • Attach 2 pieces of transparent tape to the front andback surfaces of a corner of the film. Press the 2 pieces of tape firmly together, then quickly pull them apart to begin separating the clear liner away from the static side of the film.

  • Absolutely. Our blackout film is removable and reusable. You can just simply peel the film off the glass in seconds with no mess.

  • Please check if you have removed the liner, trimmed the edges or queegeed excess water and bubbles. Leave a 1/16” wide gap around the four perimeter edges of the film. This gap is essential for the proper thermal expansion of the glass.

Rain aesthetic is amazing, not as blurred as the frosted privacy film but way easier to install. I used a thin mist water bottle to apply then a sharp razor to cut the excess and viola! Privacy without blocking sunshine for my plants

This film is very easy to work with and adds privacy to the glass on my front door. It’s very easy to cut with a knife or scissors. Water bubbles took some time to get out but eventually did. The only downside is you can’t see through any of it. I was hoping you could still clearly see through the clear areas of the film. However, it works as described!

I just got this today so I will wait for a few months to see if it last but so far, I am impressed. Installation was easy and im happy with the results. I am ordering more for the rest of the doors.

we liked how easy it was to use, it's rather thin and you can still see movement, colors and shapes through it but does give some privacy while letting through alot of light - we used it to cover sidelights that had a design with various types of glass (rain glass, reeded, smoked, various textures, bevelled and some smooth and clear sections). We didn't want to be viewed through the clear sections but didn't want to lose the beauty of the design in the process. Now no one can see us through the sections that were clear but we can still see the design clearly and we didn't lose too much of the light so this was a perfect solution for light coverage.

Oh man this stuff is great! I have a shower window on first floor apt that looks into the yard and I put this on the bottom pane. Renter friendly bc it’s static cling, and also easy to reposition til I got it just right. I used a blade from a $5 peel and stick wallpaper kit to flatten against the window which I recommend. No peeling or anything yet. Lets light in but still obscures. From the outside looks nice too.

I got this product because it sounded easy to install and didn't require adhesive. I don't know if it's because my windows were big but the edges kept coming off at the top even though I sprayed the window with a ton of soapy water. I ended up having to tape it to keep it up. Looks nice on the parts that stuck well.

I have people walking by in front of my window instead of using the sidewalk. So, I had enough and bought this film. No one can see in but I still get light. If I want more light in my normally dark apartment, I can pull the blind up all the way. Unless someone is 10 feet tall no one can see in.I absolutely love this product, I wish I had bought it years ago. The younger generation just doesn't think about how they would feel if the same thing was happening to them. Also, when I was about 7, our Mom taught us to never walk in someone's lawn even if it was a 4ftx6ft. We never did. We walked on the sidewalk. This was a perfect solution and now I don't get aggravated by ignorant people. My niece put it up for me and it was easy to doShe used a ruler to smooth out the film, so that it didn't have any bubbles. The size I purchased covered the bottom part of 3 windows. It looks great! I bought the right size for my needs with very little left over. The great thing about it is that I can remove it, if I move out. So it's reusableVery durable . I bought a size big enough to cover 3 bottom windows. The 3rd size available.29.5 by 118 inches

We have a sunroom with French doors, and we wanted something opaque to cover the windows instead of just sheer curtains. We have 2 panels about 21 x 62 and used the film on the side of the window facing the inside of the house. The installation instructions were not very good I didn't think. Before ordering: Measure properly! I should have asked for help holding the tape measurer on the long window and was a few inches short and had to order a second roll (had to allow for a little extra on all sides) as I was trying to do both windows on one roll.1. I bought a quart spray bottle and travel sized bottle of plain baby shampoo, already had a squeegee, single-edged razor, plastic putty knife and metal yard stick (to help with trimming)2. Fill the bottle about 3/4 and add just a few drops of the shampoo. This will help the film adhere to the glass and allow you to reposition it if necessary.3. Clean the window thoroughly. I used windex, wiped well with paper towels, then scraped the surface with a single edge razor to get off any stuck paint or dirt particles. Scrape to the edges so the plastic can cling all the way.4. Then I sprayed on some of the soapy mixture and cleaned again to get the windex off (supposed to be bad for film) using a squeegee to clean it again. If it's not clean and scraped off, the plastic won't adhere to parts of the window.5. Cut the film at least an inch bigger than the window measures. I did about 1.5-2". It's easy to cut because of the grid marks on the backing.6. Because ours pieces were long, I needed my husband to hold the corner while I peeled away the backing. If you are using shorter panels, you may not need help with this part. There is a sticker that helps you separate the backing.7. I layed towels on the floor and then laid the film down with back facing up (since it's textured, it's easy to distinguish) and squirt the film with the soapy water.8. Then squirt the window liberally with the soapy water9. Put the soapy film onto the window, texture side up of course, and make sure there is some of the plastic sticking out on each side - soapy water helps you reposition if necessary.10. Have some hand towels ready and use the squeegee to start moving the water to the edges and allowing the film adhere to the window. Get it snug. Easier to get rid of the water than to pull off and add some because you didn't use enough11. When you are ready to trim, it's easier if someone holds a metal ruler at the edge (you are supposed to allow 1/16" around for expansion/contraction) and use the single-edge razor to trim. The corners are the trickiest. You can use a credit card or plastic putty knife to work the corners and bubbles out.It has been on several days and so far, so good! I found a few videos online of applying tinted film and thankfully, this is easier to apply than that since there is texture, but you might benefit from watching one.

The privacy window film is relatively easy to install and it looks great. Also, it provides privacy and filters light as well.

It worked great and was the right price! The dotted lines made cutting it ALOT easier and it was very easy to install. Just a light mist on the window(avoid drips, I just blotted them away with a paper towel) and then start at one corner move across and down. Did it solo and took 15mins to do both windows. Still let's in lots light but keeps our bathroom private. My orchid plant is very happy beside this window covering and is blooming. Great for plants who live indirect light 😉
