It was very easy to put on. Rainbow colors shine thru the glass when light falls on it. We first applied to the back door. We loved it so much that we ordered one for the front door as well.

I’ve been looking for a mirrored window tint that doesn’t cut the amount of light coming into the house and I’ve finally found one that doesn’t make my house incredibly dark. I started off with another brand in the silver black color and noticed it makes the outside look like I am wearing sunglasses, which is not what I was going for.I found this brand and noticed they had a plain silver color. When I applied the test strip, I was amazed by how the film doesn’t alter the look of outside too much. In the photos, the top one is the original film I tested and the bottom is the volcanics silver.The film is fairly easy to put on, just ensure that you clean your surface thoroughly prior to application as it will show dust or any particles left on the surface.The film is thick and sturdy and doesn’t tear easily. If you don’t already have a film application kit, I definitely recommend getting one as it makes the process easier than using a credit card and a knife.Should you decide you no longer want the film on your surface, it’s simply stuck on using static and can easily be removed with no residue left on your surface.The see through and mirror like capabilities are a tad lacking which is why I removed one star. If you’re pale like me, you can be seen through the film and if you’re at eye level from the outside looking in, it does not offer a mirror like reflection. I’d suggest this to be used more for uv and heat protection if applied at ground level but does offer a mirrored finish when applied on floors above eye level.

I wanted to have some privacy while looking out onto my backyard from the large bay windows in my bedroom. I have trust issues, so I purchased 2 different brands of privacy film. Volcanics brand is on the left. I applied the other brand on the right first. It was really tricky because it is very flimsy and has a very sticky back. Think giant, extra-sticky Saran wrap. It literally took over an hour, because it was very difficult to line up and apply, as it kept sticking to itself or the window prematurely...even after finally having someone try to help by holding one end. Then I went to apply the Volcanics and braced myself. Long story short, it took literally 10 minutes total once cut to size. What I love about the Volcanics when compared with the other brand is that it is much thicker and very sturdy. Not flimsy at all. So I didn't need someone else to hold the other end. Also, it doesn't have that sticky back that would keep sticking prematurely. All you have to do is spray water on the window and apply. Because it's not sticky, you can easily slide it around on the pane until it lines up perfectly. Notice there is some overlapping on both, but it's hardly noticeable on the Volcanics on the left. Another plus is that Volcanics is not dark at all. The other one is way too dark. Both brands do provide great privacy because all you see is your reflection from outside. However, the other brand looks like cheap cellophane, while Volcanics is hardly noticeable. I am very pleased. So I ordered some more Volcanics and will remove and replace the brand on the right.

I installed Volcanics privacy window film on one french door (left side of photo) 3 months ago as a test and it works very well. Privacy, tint and reduces heat when sun shines on the glass. My only issue is the film has kind of a grainy look - the view is not sharp. So I email Volcanics to ask if the had a similar product with high definition. They do not, but they immediately issued a refund thru Amazon. What?! I didn’t even ask about a return- i was looking to buy additional products. 5 stars and i will consider Volcanics for other products in the future.

Fácil aplicação (borrifei agua no vidro e grudei a película, em seguida retirei um filme bem fino que vem colado nela e retirei as bolhas de ar passando um paninho seco). Acabamento muito bonito e agradável. Vale muito à pena a compra, mesmo que a entrega demore mais do que o normal.

I love looking at this film on my front door. It makes beautiful rainbows on my walls and is beautiful to look at it. I had an easy time installing, but I purchased a window film installation kit with exacto knife and felt smoothing paddle. Provides excellent privacy. Lies flat with no bubbles, have had it up a full month with no peeling.

Having our kitchen redone left a skylight needing a light filter, the film went on easily but in time the light was too muted and came off very Easy.

Die Folie ist wirklich sehr schön. Ein Rakel zum optimalen Anbringen wäre allerdings toll gewesen. Gibt es normalerweise bei anderen Anbietern immer dazu.

Sieht wunderschön aus und war leicht anzubringen. Hab es für Fenster als Blickschutz verwendet. Das Muster ist wunderschön und sieht edel aus. Schönes Lichtspiel bei Sonneneinfall. Beschreibung ist auch mehrfach und eigentlich Idiotensicher. Eine tolle Folie, die mir sehr gut gefällt, danke!
