I love it! For the low price, you can't beat it. I needed something to stop my nosy neighbors from seeing in my kitchen windows. These windows are on the back of the house, and we've never had neighbors living in the house behind us until recently. I didn't want to spend the money on blinds, so I got this. It arrived in perfect condition. I followed the directions and covered the bottom halves of 3 windows in an hour or less. It was extremely easy. It did come with tools: tape measure, spray water bottle, small squeegee, and a small exacto-type cutter. (Small tools pictured.) I used the tape measure and exacto knife, but I used my own squeegee because it was much larger than what they sent. I also used my own spray water bottle, for the same reason. I also used scissors. (I also put a pic of what I used, the larger items.)If you need a quick, inexpensive fix, don't hesitate to get this product. I'm going to leave mine up until that house is vacant again. Then it will be simple to take these off. (I only covered the bottom half of the windows because curtains cover the top, and if we need to look outside, we can just pull back the curtain.)

This was a great find. It was really easy to apply—just cut it to size, peel, stick, and smooth it out. No special tools needed, and it went on without any bubbles once I got the hang of it. The trick is using a LOT of water. Spray both the window and the back of the film.I like how well it adds privacy without blocking natural light. You can’t see through it clearly from either side, which is perfect for bathroom windows or street-facing rooms, but it still lets in plenty of sunlight so the space doesn’t feel dark or closed off.If you’re looking for an easy, affordable way to add privacy without sacrificing light, this film is totally worth it. Plus, it looks clean and modern—no need for bulky blinds or curtains.

We installed on our sliding doors to backyard deck, where a full size blinds was not appealing to us. Turns out it’s was Beautiful and with a professional look.It took us a few minute to figure out the film has an “extra” clear layer, needs to remove before applying. Comes with all the tools, which includes measurement tape, mini bottle sprayer and a squeegee. The squeegee was the worse, not sturdy enough, I reuse one of those cellphone applicator one, works much better.Tips, spray a lot and a lot of water! You can also squeeze them out, but the water will help with the professional look.

There were a couple of small holes in the film at the beginning of the roll so we lost about a foot, which would have come in handy. Otherwise, we are happy with the application process and the light/screening effect of the striped design.

I installed this on a large window on a door that is beside a window with blinds. I wanted the windows to match and they definitely do! I think overall it looks great. I was disappointed that there is no visibility through the film. From the photos I thought you would be able to see through where the white fades out, but no. Regardless, it looks great and I get a lot of compliments on it, and at least it provides the privacy we were looking for.I have installed many of these types of films before. This one was a lot thicker than the other ones. It went okay and I pushed out all of the air/bubbles, however, once it dried and set I noticed many bubbles that I then couldn't push out. You cant really see it during the day unless you are super close but in the evening when it gets darker it is noticible.

My cats are window perchers, but 1 cat in particular can utterly destroy a miniblind in under 5 minutes. Possible solutions I found online suggested wood or faux wood blinds. BOTH of which can be expensive.I stumbled upon the white miniblind pattern when purchasing privacy film for our bathroom window. Some reviews provided photos, and it truly did appear as miniblinds when applied to windows so I took a chance this may solve my problem with miniblind destruction. It absolutely looks like miniblinds from inside AND out. The temperature of my kitchen also came down several degrees without the sun beating through the window. This product could NOT be easier to apply. A rotary cutter ensures clean edges. Tips from other users solved removal of the clear film backing (blue painters tape did the job).Spray water and apply. If there's too many bubbles, peel it off and start again. It's mistake proof as opposed to something like contact paper with adhesive.Anyone claiming they don't stick, has either NOT removed the clear film, is applying the wrong side or hasn't used enough water. Our window has to be repaired. So I will be able to remove the privacy film and reapply once it's done. Nothing wasted.Onto the blackout miniblind pattern to see if I can get as good of a result in our master bedroom windows. My husband is really impressed and thats not an easy achievement. It's just THAT simple. It takes longer to gather tools, measure and cut them than to apply. Again, the rotary cutter, worked much better than a utility knife or scissors. Easily cut through the film leaving straight, clean cuts.

The film seems to be quality film, backing came off pretty easily. My only complaint is that instead of a matte frost look this stuff was sparkly. Also most like actual ice was on the window. If still performed well from a privacy and light diffusion standpoint. The sparkles just weren’t the look we were going for.
