VELCRO is and always will be the best hook and loop product on the market. I've tried other brands without much luck, especially the adhesive. The material of these, as well as the adhesive are far better than others.

I've used these strips several times and for the most part, they are great. They are strong and stick well. But I have noticed that they don't stay put on every surface. I tried to use them outside on metal outside on my house and the item attached kept falling off. I don't know if it's was became of the rain, humidity or what, but it wouldn't stay put on that surface. But I have used it on other surfaces (like vinyl for example) and works great.

The grip on the Velcro is great.Once I shored up the backing with glue (type varied with application) it’s great!But, without the glue, the Velcro won’t stick much.
