I have canvas lined Isinglass windows on a Sun porch to block the winter wind and cold yet still see-through. Over the years the canvas has stretched, and there were gaps between the snaps. I bought this to seal those gaps a little tighter. This worked very well! It’s stuck to the canvas no problem, stuck to the wood no problem, and remain remained adhered through the cold Buffalo winter. It is very similar to the Velcro that sticks a car pass to a windshield. It’s very strong, very weatherproof, and clicks into place. I had some leftover so I found other uses for it due to its durability and strength. I used it to adhere a dry erase board to a wall, a remote control to a wall, and in the garage for various things. So far, no problems with the adhesion nor the grip.

I haven't tried it with anything heavy, but my son broke the plastic part that holds his oculus headstrap and we decided to add some type of velcro and see if it would hold up. We'll, my son mentioned that is felt so much better than just having the plastic piece. He was also happy that it doesn't look goofy like he thought it would. He's constantly moving around and so far it's held up nicely.

I have been using this product for many projects on my sailboat for over 20 years. The adhesive is non-destructive. I have successfully pulled it off varnished surfaces after several years and have never seen any damage to the surface to which this product has been applied.There are pictures on my boat that have been hanging on walls for 50,000 miles.In addition to avoiding drilling holes in my boat this product allows for easy realignment of things that I did not position correctly on my first try.Four postage stamp size pieces of this product held a lap top in place in the nav station of my sailboat for a circumnavigation.The only time I had a problem was when I used to to attach a video streaming device to the cabin overhead near the TV. I had not realized how hot that little device would get and the adhesive failed after a few weeks.

Bought this dual lock for my pedal board instead of tradition hook and loop Velcro. This stuff is incredible, be careful though once you lock 2 things together it's really hard to get them apart lol

This is a large format attachment that is many times stronger than Velcro.PROsIt is easy to apply with a high bond-strength sticky backing which is PERMANENT.It can hold over a pound of weight per square inch - holding a wireless cell phone charger on a wall with a cell phone in it or a cordless phone charger-cradle to wall with a cordless phone in it.After you attach it to both sides of your target location, you can attach and remove it just like VelcroYou can use pieces of the same tape on both sides - unlike hook-and-loop VelcroIt is a solid thicker all-plastic material that is immune to damage by water unlike Velcro.CONsYou must be sure to select the exact spot where you want to place the Fastener 250 tape. The backing tape is PERMANENT.Once you uncover the tape and it will stick to the first place you touch the tape side to, whether you want to or not.If you decide you want to move the location, you can place a new piece of Fastener 250 on that new location - but is very challenging to remove the unwanted piece of Fastener 250.If you do remove an unwanted piece from a wall, be prepared to repaint. It is that strong.If you remove it from a bare metal plate, the tape residue can be removed with xylene (using lots of ventilation for safety), but not rubbing alcohol.

I keep this stuff on hand because I've used it for years. It for when you need something to STAY in place and yet, be able to remove the item you're attaching something to as well. The self sticking tape is tough to remove, but possible, so choose position for the hook and loop wisely. As an example, I use in on my battery operated door bell. Rarely has to be remove to replace the battery - in the meantime it is held fiercely in place when re hooked up on the hook and loop. I can easily recommend this stuff. You'll want to be aware of the length. Sometimes they sell little tiny 1 ft pieces. I keep several feet of it on hand because remember - it matches to itself - so you'll use 2 pieces of whatever length you're using for any project. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different.
