I was having difficulty safely lifting my Primo grates with the silver handle that originally came with my Primo. I thought I'd give this product a try. The handle gave me a lot more control of lifting the grates than I had with the silver handle. I don't have to worry about the grate slipping out of my control. I bought 1 for each of my 2 Primos.

This grate lifter is a neat little tool to have when grilling. The handle is long enough that unless you are careless, you can move a grate without getting burnt.

Really good forged quality with an innovative design that makes it easy to lift and move the heavy stainless steel grates on our natural gas grill. The handle cover provides good grip without slipping.

Purchased for Weber master grill, oops make a mistake? will lift main grill but not char grill, my fault will live with this. My advise check measurements?

This product is too wide to fit intro a nexgrill grate and a charbroil grate. It works fine in the wire type grates.Otherwise the material and it’s design are solid.I am going to grind the sides down about 1/8” on each side to get it to fit between the grates.

I bought this as a sort of afterthought when I ordered a set of grates for my Weber kettle. I figured it would come in handy whenever I needed to add charcoal, but I didn’t put much thought into it beyond that. Turns out I use this thing quite a bit and it is very handy! If you have a Vortex especially, you’ll find yourself removing and replacing the center insert which this tool is absolutely necessary for. It’s a simple thing with no moving parts, but it’s well built and indispensable for cast iron grates.

Pince de levage plus que pratique, nécessaire.Cet outil permet de retirer la grille du barbecue, qui peut être lourde, sale et chaude à la fois.Elle est juste parfaite, c'est le "Must have à détenir.Rapport qualité/prix très correct.Le manche est gainé d'un caoutchouc qui a l'air solide dans le temps, doté d'un petit cordon pour la suspendre à un crochet.L'acier a l'air costeaud, l'objet pèse son poids.Très satisfait, je m'en sers tout le temps.Retirer et remettre la grille est un jeu d'enfant.Pas du tout déçu de cet achat.

The cast iron is coated, but likely to rust if left exposed to elements over time. Spacing fIts the stainless grates on my Weber Genesis solidly , but only from the side. Spacing on the tool does not allow it to be inserted from the front on my Weber. The Lifter balances better when inserted1/3rd the way in toward the center of the grate, but the lift handle is short and can be fairly close to the grate if using while the grill is hot. Overall, useful and worth the money, but 3" longer would have improved the design.
